Update on Jeff Branson:

"Jeff will be playing in what I believe will be a real breakout role for him over the summer," Y&R's co-head writer Maria Arena Bell told TVGuide Canada's Nelson Branco. "It's a small-term story arc. I want to keep the story specifics under wraps because [it's a doozy]."


Since Bell's original statement, soapcentral.com has learned that Branson will be playing Detective Ronan Malloy, Chance's partner, beginning June 22.

When Lauren made the crack about the joy of being an only child today, I thought it was a jab at the "spoilers" that claimed Sarah was going to be her long lost twin. I guess it was instead of foreshadowing of the Jill storyline.


If Elizabeth knew who Jill's father was, wouldn't she also have known that Kay wasn't her mother? And Jill should be about the same age as Lauren's father!

OK, so let’s think back……back to when Lauren was in HS/college, stalking Danny Romalotti and making Tracey’s life miserable at the poolside. Jill was a hot young thing, chasing after John Abbott. She had already had the Chancellor kid, and Jack was browbeating her for being a gold-digger and going after his Dad. So, I’m sure she’s older than Jack (at least slightly), and Jack is only slightly older than Lauren (maybe up to but not more than 10years-since Jack is Tracey’s older brother, and Ashley is in between). So I guess it’s conceivable that Jill is her sister. So who is Jill’s parent, Lauren’s mother or father? (GASP!!)…or both?? You know, I dont know if I've ever seen Jill and Lauren in a scene together.

I just finished today’s episode and it occurs to me (as I watched Skye throw all the money on the bed)—whatever the plot is…it’s just plain stupid! Victor Newman has more money than the gross national income of all the first world, developed, industrialized nations of the world combined!! Why would any child of Victor Newman’s go to any length to extort money from anyone, much less extort from Victor?? It's easy to fit in--the family has low moral and behavioral standards and expectations, AND access to the best of anything that money can buy!!! Extortion is too much work! Even if he and Skye had a great scam going, isnt the goal to achieve “Victor Newman kid” status?? They had the the jackpot in the palms of their hands and pi**ed it all away!! So now they're pimpin' themselves at the casinos with dangerous people and running from the law, (yadda yadda) waiting for payoffs, etc. Isnt it easier (and more lucrative) to just play nice with relatives you may not like, especially when big daddy is THE VICTOR NEWMAN? Ah well!!

But since we gotta work with what we have…......I think the judge that Adam and Skye are paying off is forcing the Genoa City DA to convict the Newmans!

Here’s another prediction—Victor comes home with another lover and a new Canadian baby mama!! LOL!!!
