So we decided to do the YES program on our May/June trip. The only other time we did this, was in Sept 2012, and before the FP+ and MDE. On that last trip, we picked our tickets up the day before our 1st park day, and with no issues. Before purchasing the tickets this year, I read where the tickets could be emailed 30 or 60 days before our 1st day so they could be used for FP+.

However, now I'm getting worried about that. From what I've been reading, the FP+ availability usually starts around 1:00 am on the 60 day mark. If I have to wait until some time during that same day to receive the email, I will then be several hours behind, and the hard to get FP+'s may already be gone. And then, fingers crossed, there aren't any problems entering the tkt #'s, which would make it even later in trying to book our FP+'s.

Has anyone had experience with YES tkts and FP+? What time of day did you receive your email with the tkt info? Did you have any problems entering the information in to the MDE sight?

I'm planning on phoning Student Guest Services next week, but for now, I would really like to hear from anyone who has had experience with this situation.

Thanks!

I have been looking for the same information.
Hopefully someone will share their experience with this?
Please and Thank You!?

They will email you your ticket number to add to MDE. I believe I received my email a few days before my 60 day window started. I was nervous about it too but everything went smoothly. You shouldn't have any issues.

Edit: Found the old email: they sent me an email a day in advance that had my "Ticket ID".

They'll send the ticket information the day before your FP+ window opens. I had to request it, but I think it's automatic now. Once they send you the ticket code, you can't make any changes or upgrades. We added a few days and an extra class to our tickets before we got the codes, and were specifically told that nothing could be changed afterwards.

Glad to hear this. I"m not all that comfortable with the whole FP+ thing, and this issue with the YES tkts has really had me worried.

Thanks again!
