I understand they are giving out medals at the end of the day. However, I have not seen a single medal ceremony on TV. I really enjoy seeing the presentation, each countries national anthem, the emotion and joy. Have I missed it???I live at west and understand that NBC is not showing anything to us live, everything we see is taped. OK....but where are the medal ceremonies? I haven't even see a picture of an American receiving a medal on our local news or in the paper. Whats up??
Yes, I was thinking the same thing that I haven't seen any medal ceremonies at all. If that is the case that they are showing the ceremony late night, well I guess that explains why I haven't seen them since I haven't been able to keep my eyes open long enough.
Am I the only one that thinks the pairs figure skating is anticlimatic. I usually love skating but for some reason, this pairs competition is not very exciting to me. I am however looking forward to the men's competition.
Thank you all for thoughts and suggested stations to watch. I did find CSNBC has coverage tomorrow from 9 am to 3. USA -tv has coverage tomorrow night. I guess I was hoping for the usual coverage of medals being awarded following the competition. I will keep a look out now that I know they are showing it.
CTV is showing Alexandre get his medal right now.
Thank you, I searched my stations and sadly it was not on any station. Glad to hear some of you were able to watch.
The coverage starts out here in about 40 minutes. We will be watching! I love figure skating.

This has nothing to do with just showed medal ceremony. Every Olympics I think the same thing. I thought it last night too. I think Olympic training should include learning the words to your National Anthem. No matter what country you are from.
Canadians look kind of discombobulated when they sing "O Canada" as group because some are singing in English, some are singing in French and a whole lot are randomly switching back and forth.

There is actually an official bilingual version, which does switch between English and French, but not randomly.
I'm just happy the crowd managed not to make it sound like a funeral dirge.
ummm...why would it sound like that? "Oh Canada" is a lovely uplifting song.
Love that!!!I come from French Canadian background & an area in RI with many French Canadians. We always do that. Not just while singing. lol
If you slow down the pace to much, it sounds like a funeral dirge. I've heard it happen a few times - not pretty.
Geez, what's with everybody falling tonight? I admit I haven't been paying 100% attention, as I was distracted by the counterfeit handbag thread, but it seems like every time I look up at the TV, someone else is on his or her butt.
AAHHH! I wish it was tomorrow already. I wanna watch some men's hockey!

ME TOO!!!![]()
At least we only have to wait 'til tomorrow and not longer. Otherwise I would be wallowing in the fact I have no home games even available to go to until next month.
And I'm jealous ya'll get to watch stuff now. Stupid west coast has to wait until prime time for any more coverage even though we're in the same time zone. LAME!
