Xmas questions

We're taking my wife's grandparents on a DCL cruise the first week of Dec, and would like to spend a couple of days at WDW afterwards. Any insight/recomendations as to which DVC resort would be the best decorated or have the most fun for the season?

The VWL. The theming is unbelievable during the Christmas season. you will not be disappointed.

Tough call. I also think both BCV and BWV are beautifully decorated and they give you the easy proximity to the Candlelight Processional at Epcot and the Osborne Lights at MGM. Heck, OKW is pretty, too! You really can't go wrong with any of them at Christmastime.

I say VWL too- we stayed there the first week in Dec 2 years ago. People told me on these boards that it was breath taking. It certainly was. I loved to just sit down there in that main lobby and absorb it all!

My vote would also be for VWL. My DW, DS and I stayed there 2years ago and are itching to go back for christmas again soon. It is a sort of rustic christmas look. Very well done.

I agree with Pam. You won't go wrong with the decorations at any of the resorts. Base your decision on what you want to do and where you want to be close to. The VWL (where we are staying this year for Christmas) is beautiful at the holiday time but I was amzed at the decorations at the BWV's last year.

DIS at Christmas is amazing!!!! You'll be thrilled anywhere you are. I would pick my favorite resort or what type of trip I am looking for (the quiet of OKW, the hustle of BWV, etc.)


Also, you may want to check out decorations at some of the other resorts instead of a day in the park. As I recall GF was incredible!

We have been to BCV, OKW and BWV at Christmastime. They are all special in their own way. We want to try VWL soon. We always make it a point to visit most of the resorts ton see the decorations and dine at the restaurants. Our next visit is in early December and we will be at BWV!!
