XCaret port time/excursion time answer

The ship doesn't get to Cozumel until 10:30 am, but the XCaret and other Playa del Carmen excursions start about an hour before that. I sent an email to Disney to ask if the ship was stopping in Playa del Carmen to let the excursion people off before Cozumel and here's the response -

We're sorry for the confusion. 9:45 a.m. is actually the meeting time onboard for the shore excursion. Guests will not disembark the ship until it has docked and been cleared (approximately 10:30 a.m.).
