I am having a party for my 19th birthday. I was not sure what to do with my friends at the party. But one of my friends suggested that he could bring his xbox. I don't have any sort of game system, so there for I don't have games. I was trying to find a fairly cheap game that I would like and my friends would like also. I would probaly only use the game at the party, so I don't want it to be to expensive. I would also need something simple to play.

Most video places rent games. Go for multi-player games. I know Halo is a popular title, and my husband plays that with friends on-line and when they come over. Dance Dance Revolution would probably be fun for a party, you could rent the game but you would probably have to purchase the mat. Happy Birthday!

Dance Dance Revolution and Rock Band are both good party games, but neither one is inexpensive and you can't rent either one (well, you can probably rent the game but not the needed equipment). Maybe one of your friends has one that they would be willing to bring. Halo is very popular and is a good multiplayer game, but isn't one that I would call a party game. It isn't as good to just pick up and play as some other games.

Another good console for a party is the Wii, if one of your friends has it and would bring it. The Wii has several really good multiplayer party games that are great to just pick up and play, and the games cost less than the XBox games.

And of course don't forget board games - things like Taboo, Balderdash, Pictionary, and Cranium are great for groups.
