Shane is good looking but his performances are so lacking in ANYTHING... no dynamics, no charisma.... no nothing!! Thats what makes Brenda and Maria good.. they perform.. they look like they are enjoying themselves, and they make you believe they are feeling the song, they show different aspects to their voices.. and you can see some personality from them...

the others just leave me cold.

I am clearly in the minority with Journey South.. i just dont get it. They look like and sound like pub singers to me..

Chatting with someone who was in the audience this Saturday just gone, they found it all sounds SO different in the studio than it does on TV.

They said that the girl group - oops, I can't remember their name!!!! (I have jetlag :crazy:

) - sounded AWFUL in the studio..... could that be why Simon chose a big production number to try to cover their weaknesses?

This surely has to be between Shane, Maria and Andy? Brenda is a fabulous singer, but I don't think she'll be in the final.

All any of these need is a good, ORIGINAL song to succeed after the show has gone and is forgotten.

I agree about the original songs Shirley... Im actually bored of the covers in most cases..

I think journeys south would be hugely improved if they were singing their own songs.
Also if they had head transplants I think they would be better too!

Ha Ha Sammie, how true! I think shaynes got a boring too! as he's supposed to already be the winner I'd love it if he did get voted out over Andy, who, I feel is the real star, We need another crooner in this country and he's so lovely and down to earth, I'm glad Chenai has gone, her whinging was really annoying me

I want Maria or Brenda to win. I think they have a voice that can easily adapt to any type of song. At the moment it seems to be all easy ballads.

I am not pleased Chenia went over Chico. Yes he is an entertainer, but I am thinking say if you went to a store and bought the CD could you listen to it? My answer is no way. He cant sing, you cant appreciate the entertainment via a CD. If you know what I mean.

My vote would be those. Andy is good, but I am worried its another one hit wonder Steve.

What happened to Steve anyway?

Couldn't believe the results tonight. Didn't see the programme but I'm shocked that Maria got booted out.

the conway sisters...? what can i say?
Maria was so much better with really rock solid performances every week.. and truly versatile.

That idiot Louis walsh needs his brains testing! oooh I so dont like that man!!!

Joh i agree, he shouldn't of even got through in the first place. Hes cheesey and can't sing. He may of been good at stripping (but still not my cup of tea) but he should be gone :guilty:

I actually didn't like Maria's performance this week, although she is much better overall than the Corrs, sorry Conways :rotfl:

I do think either Nicholas or Chico should have gone this week - Chico absolutely murdered that Enrique song.

I am still hoping that Brenda wins - although even she didn't do as well this week, in my opinion.

Agree with you Joh. Although Maria's performance this week wasn't great I don't think she should have been booted out. I was cringing this morning when I watched Chico murdering the Enrique song. I would like to see either Brenda or Andy winning although the way it is going Chico could win. Do think the judges were voting on performance this week.

Nicholas just cant seem to get the right song for him can he, shame really because I thought when he sang "Lets Get It On" a few weeks back he was fantastic.

I like Brenda, but did'nt like that song she sang tonight.

Andy was great yet again, and Im still loving Journey South. :goodvibes

If I could vote for the people I want to go it would be The Conways and Nicholas.

Really liked Andy and Brenda and of course Chico.

Tonight I think the bottom two will be Nicholas and The Conways.

Think I am in the minority but Shayne just leaves me cold.

It's CHICO to win for me!!! He is easily the most entertaining and the only one I would actually pay to watch.....although I do like Andy and Brenda as far as singing talent goes! Nicholas was poor tonight: flat and boring and deseved to go!

I am ashamed to admit it :blush:

but I actually LIKED Chico's song and his performance tonight. By the end of the song, I was singing along :blush:

However, I still don't think he deserves to be there above any of the others (except maybe the Conways)

It didn't surprise me at all that Nicholas went tonight - I really think he should have sung a Craig David song. I know they were avoiding it because they didn't want him to be compared but I think he probably would have done it really well.

DH thought Sharon would have voted the Conways off at the end but I knew she wouldn't - it would have just made her seem vindictive.

I still think Brenda should win. I thought Shane was great to start with but he is getting on my nerves now.
