I for one was gutted about 4Tune going out, no way in my opinion should they have been in the bottom 2, and I think the whole thing was handled terribly by the judges in particular Louis Walsh, who is my making my blood boil every week.

Most were up for the sympathy vote this week....However what I thought was bad was that no-one mentioned Andy was at his own mothers funeral the dat before (friday) I think he had courage to go out there on Saturday maybe he asked for it not to be mentioned but it annoyed me that others got tearful and complaining how hard it was for them when they knew he had a death to deal with!

He definately made the right choice! I couldnt stand Phillip! I hope Chenae (spl?) goes next week, her voice sounds odd. Thought Brenda, Maria and Shane were brilliant this week.

im glad phillip went, its getting harder to choose now though i think the standard is very high and i would like to see 3 or 4 people winning it

I totally disagree. Although I DO think Philip should have gone last week, I believe he deserved to stay this week. Chico can NOT sing - OK so he's a gret entertainer but I am starting to get completely bored with the whole 'It's Chico time' thing. His dance moves are the same every week, he loves himself and he can only sing a certain type of song (and not very well at that).

I am also really annoyed that Simon said 'I give you my word that I will make my decision based on tonight's performance' and then blatantly chose based on who he thought the viewers would want back. Very unfair and completely two-faced.

I think it should be Chico to go next and then Chenai (unfortunately, her lisp lets her down when she sings - not that there's anything wrong with having a lisp). My favourites are still Andy and Brenda, although Maria was very good last night as well.

Think Simon did make the right choice sending Phillip home. When they showed you the clip of him throughout the competition ~ It sounded as though he had gotten worse instead of improving.

Think Simon based his voting not only on the singing ability on the night but also who he thought the viewers wanted back.

Didn't seem to be the back stabbing from the judges that has been going so far.

The standard does seem to be getting higher and I'm really not sure at the moment who I would like to win. It's hard not to base the people that you like rather than the way they are performing on the night.

I'm sure Simon found it a really tough decision but I do think he's right to get rid of Phillip, Chico is a bit crap but if he HAD to win he'd be guaranteed a one hit wonder with his rendition of 'Its Chico Time!' then he'd disappear without a trace.
Thought Andy was brilliant, I think theres definately room in the market for one more crooner and you KNOW he's a great guy who'd keep his feet on the ground, Thought Shaynes performance was surprisingly poor, I thought he would be the far and away winner but sat nights let him down.

Just watched the X-Factor from last night ~ Anyone else watch it?

I really like Chenei when the show started but I'm glad she was voted off.

Maria has a good voice but there is still something about her that I don't like. I'm really liking Journey South and in an odd way Chico

Yes Minniespal, i wouldn't miss it, it's one of the best progs on a Sat night Have to agree that chenei's time was up and i didn't like Chico t begin with but i think he's growing on me now Oh dear!

I like Shane but his song was all wrong last night but that said he did the best he could with what he was given

I also like Brenda and Journey South and unless either of these really muck up in a big way then it's going to be difficult to choose between them.

i hate to say this.. but I really dont like Journey south.. I find them really boring. I guess I dont really like their type of music (although usually if I like a perfomance, it doesnt matter if I dont like the song)..

I am struggling with these contestants.. maria and brenda dont bore me, but all the others.. jeez.. thank god for sky+! I can fast forward the boring bits!!!

Another vote from me for Journey South, I think they are great. I must be one of the only ones whose not keen on Shane, dont know why, he's got a good voice, but there is just something about him, i'm not keen on.
