Addictive Ladies were on This Morning today and they said that after the show Louis said to them that they only got thru to the live shows bcos Simon fanices them! That seems a very petty thing to say and must make them feel that he is trying to take their achievement of getting so far on the show away.

I think that they will all improve over the weeks. Its a tough call to sing live on tv.. and nerves definitely got the better of them on Saturday.
Lets hope they all do better next week.

sammie for me its a tough call to sing live anywhere as im totally rubbish. haha even my kids ask me to stop singing lol. im really bad but the worse thing is im not adverse to getting up to do a bit of karaoke. i get the sympathy cheers though. both my dd's can sing really nicely. didnt get it from me.

I am in a bit of a fix with this.....I love ANDY and think he has a great voice and he works as a dustman...he deserves to win!!

However JOURNEY SOUTH live in my home town and I have seen them sing at a close friends wedding and they were brilliant also seen them in a local club. They have been singing together for years....so what do I do vote for my favourite soul singer (Andy) or stay faithful to the local lads!!???

I did vote for Andy this week but I guessed they woould both go through!!

Glad that 4tune are out - Simon is furious!!!! Didn't rate Phillip much this week either.
I liked Brenda and Shayne this week best.

im not saying one (chenai/4tune) was better than the other. i do have opinions on who i like but regardless of what i think about the contestants the competition at the minute is much more about the judges. sharon paying back louis for saving chico. what can i say. i really didnt mind who went tonight it was the way it was done that made me want to switch off and not bother switching back on next week. i didnt find it entertaining. yes the first show was good but the second wasnt worth watching at all. it was farcical.

they have taken the judges grudges story line too far. give us a break.

Think the judges need to remember why they are there and they have a job to do. At the end of the day the are gambling with people's futures.

Let's face it, with any show like this, it's all about the judges and what makes good telly. At the end of the day, if a couple of the finalists sell a few records then so much the better for them but that's not what it's really about.

The whole voting thing (last week and tonight) was completely political. Both Louie and Sharon want Simon out of the competition, so they need to get rid of his groups - if they get the opportunity, that's what they'll do.

Sharon didn't really NOT want to make that decision tonight - without either Louie or Simon saying anything, she had already made her decision - but it wouldn't have been as compulsive viewing (nor got her more popularity votes which is what Sharon 'I love being famous' Osbourne is all about) as dragging it out and making out like she wasn't gonna choose. Her mind was made up as soon as she knew the decision was hers!

At the end of the day, the winning act must sell records, and I don't think Chico will do that. He's very entertaining to watch, but I think if you just had to listen to him without the visuals, I don't think he would cut it.

ITA but, like I say, it's all about what makes good television.

Philip didn't perform very well last night but DH and I had our doubts, from the beginning, about his ability to cut it in the final 12 anyway. I actually thought Andy's performance was distinctly average last night too but, overall, he has a great voice and is a good performer so he will go far, whether in or out of the competition.
