I missed it last night as I was out, but reading through these posts I was shocked simon chose his own group. I was never a fan of the conway sisters and agree it was time for them to go

When given the chance to say a few words one of the Conways thanked Louis for all his support saying what a great mentor he'd been!!!

Well they did play at one of Westlife's wedding's, they probably thought they would win the show......I am glad they have gone.

I bet Chico was so happy

Even though he's not the best singer, I think Chico definitely has more potential as an artist who can sell records! I can imagine that song of his ("It's Chico Time") getting to number one, whether we like it or not!

I really like all of them with the exception of Shayne. There is just something about him that leaves me cold. I hope he goes tonight although I can't see that happening.

He is definetly more a showman than a singer. I like him but I would hate for him to keep a spot that a better artist should have.

I am so glad the Conways went last week, i couldn't believe it when Maria was kicked out over them apprantly they're father threatened Louis Walsh to keep them in as he's something to do with the Irish Mafia? but it's probably silly tabloid talk
I think it's Chiquos time to go tonight, i do like the man but there are people left with so much more talent and he can't sing -_- he is entertaining though! and he should be happy with how far he has gotten, because he has done so well.
Brenda to win! Isn't she looking fantastic?!

I haven't been watching much of the X Factor (cos it usually clashes with Strictly Come Dancing), but I caught the results last night and finally they've gotten rid of Chicco. I agree he is very entertaining, but he's a dreadful singer. I bet he'll have a Christmas top 10 c.d. out soon

I'm glad Chico went last night. As I've said before he is a good entertainer but the keeping him in would have meant a good singer having to go home. As much as I don't like Shayne he can sing. Think the right choice was made last night. Liked the new format too ~ singer with the least amount of votes goes home. It was nice not to have to see the judges arguing over a final decision.

I think it was the right outcome last night - although Chico has grown on me over the last couple of weeks, I didn't think he was very good at all last night. The right decision was made!

Brenda looks (and sings) better and better every single week. Her voice during that second song last night gave me goose bumps. She really should win. At the beginning I thought Andy should win but I think he has proved now that he has to sing a certain type of song. I totally agreed with Simon and Louie last night, with their comments about Easy Lover - that was such a bad performance and I think the second song saved him.

Looking forward to next week's show - not sure who will go next week though. I suspect it might be Journey South as, although they're good, they just don't do it for me!

Finally down to 4 acts that can really sing! I would have liked to have seen Maria in the final 5 - difficult to lose any of the acts then.

Shane is potentially a superstar in the making who has everything - a great voice, good looking, really nice guy, and developing stage presence and learning to move.

Brenda can make me like power ballads I never really liked originally (although I wasn't so keen on her performing an Anastacia number - that's the only song where she's come off second best to the original artist IMO) What a voice!!! Again, a really nice person!

Journey South - good singers both, but sometimes they don't make me feel very comfortable, could be that at times they don't look very comfortable, and duos are not really my thing. I liked their version of Candle In The Wind.

Andy has a great voice - pretty certain that the effects of his mother dying, in spite of trying to put his grief to one side, is playing havoc with his performance in the past few weeks.

The future for all of them - plus Maria who is a superstar - should be bright provided they get some original stuff, and are not doomed to rehash old songs!!
