Wyndham Grand Orlando vs. DoubleTree LBV???

I think I've narrowed it down to these two. DoubleTree is cheaper but it seems that Wyndham is more popular. Thoughts?

Wyndham is a beautiful hotel top to bottom. The location is good and you have access to the pools etc all around the lake. If I were going to be utilizing the hotel and amenities, then hands down I would stay if in my budget. The do have some good rates but always remember to add the $20 per night resort fee and parking fee. The do have a shuttle service, not sure schedule or if a fee. It may also only go to TTC or Epcot and make you transfer, worth checking that out. This is a location that I would be driving to parks.

Doubletree suites just went through a complete renovation and they were beautifully done. Love the space and proximity to Disney Springs. We have stayed many times. The amenities will never compare to the Wyndham but the location to DS is great if you plan to spend time there and don't or shouldn't drive. They have no resort fee and do have a parking fee. They have fairly regular free shuttles to all the Disney locations.

Would surely stay at either and it would boil down to relative room rate plus fees AND if I plan resort days (WGBC) or want to be utilizing DS and full bus system (DTS).

Thank you so much for your reply! We are not going to the parks but may go to Disney Springs and are considering a dinner show. Interested in the luau but not sure if it will be too cold to be fun. We have done Hoop Dee Doo before and loved it. We're only going for two nights the weekend after next so it may be too cold to do the pool.
