Single Mom and kiddo (7) arriving on Christmas Eve. Would you go to a place you never have been? Or would you go to the comfort of WDW?

Rhetorical question? My Dad wants to know:confused3

WDW will be a mad house on Christmas Eve, so for us, we would rather go another time.

We were there 2 years ago over Christmas, and it was extremely crowded Christmas Eve. and just getting down Main St. was a major chore. We won't go back over Christmas anymore.

I just took my 8yo. Dh was busy & couldn't go this trip. We stayed at AKL and had a blast. We were perfectly safe.:thumbsup2

As long as you're prepared for the large crowds, I'd say go for it!! Just make your ADR's. During our stay, if you didn't have one, you couldn't get a table.

It will be crowded as others have said.

However, we love the atmosphere, decorations, and WDW "Vibe" during this time of year.

I would suggest perhaps staying around the resort if possible that evening.

Good luck with your decision! :thumbsup2
