WWYD: AK early ADR and FP+ question

Hello everyone, this is my first post although I have been watching the board for a while. I have a dilemma and would like to get some pro opinions.

Right now I have an ADR for Tusker House for 8am on a normal hour day in AK. I booked a FP for the safari for 9:15am, and my other fast passes are for Lion King and Everest/Kali River Rapids (split the party). I have a 4 and 1 year old, so I was thinking of dropping the safari FP and getting an afternoon Nemo just to avoid that (or any) long wait. Plus, it rubs me wrong to use a FP first thing when I have the advantage of a pre-park opening ADR. Would this be a sound plan?

One thing you left out is the DATE.

But, assuming a "non-holiday" date...
No need for the 9:15AM FP+.
Change it for whatever else you like.
(Including a second ride later in the day. Each Safari ride is a different experience.)

Yes, we are going on 1/8/15 - Race week- but I'm hoping that won't affect things too much.
