WW Weekly Weigh-in

I'm doing WW online, since there is no class in my area. Yesterday was the one week day since I started on the CORE plan.... and I lost 2 pounds!! :bounce: Doing WW online is more difficult because you don't have the meetings to go to for support...so thank goodness for everyone here! I miss not having the printed materials that WW gives you at the meetings for handy reference in my kitchen while preparing meals too. Also, I just realized that I haven't been doing the whole CORE thing exactly right, so maybe next week will be even better.

Way to go to everyone that was a "loser" this week!

but I'm sure it will come off this week. No loss is better than a gain in my book.

MaryJ, welcome to the WW group. If you're doing core, you might want to check out this website for a complete list (both generic and brand) of Core foods. I think it makes it so much easier to follow, although I'm currently doing Points. I have friends who are doing Core using this list and are doing great. Hope it helps.

I have looked at it. It just makes it difficult going back and forth from the kitchen to the computer....and since the lists are on individual web pages, printing them out would make for a lot of paper lying around in the kitchen...and I have plenty of that all ready!

Just back from WI #3. After a .2 gain last week due to 4 days of eating & not recording due to gymnastics meet, I'm back on track. Down 1.8. I'll take anything as long as it's down!

Good luck all!!

Somehow I lost 3.4 this week! :cool1: I was shocked! Hopefully I can keep it up. In three weeks I've lost 12.6 pounds. :sunny:

Okay, after losing only .2 last week and being a bit frustrated  I lost 4.2 pounds this week - - - I am so excited!! :cloud9: I have a ways to go, but I am keeping at it and am loving this board....it really is giving me an added incentive to stick with it....(I like changing my weight counter!) Hope everybody has a good week!!!

Thanks for all you support :goodvibes :goodvibes

The last couple of days have been rough. I have been put in situations where I had no clue what points to use.......so I guessed. :confused3

Does anyone have a good source for nutrition. Tried Dotties Zone and that did work and of course the WW website.

Tonight I had chicken shish kabob with onions, tomatoes and lettuce which I could figure out. But the sauce........you know the cucumber white sauce they serve with gyros. I ordered it on the side and dipped my fork in it. :bitelip: Anyone have a clue...........

Weigh in is Thursday.........Thanks Barb.....we will have to compare notes.

Have a magical Disney Day!! :earboy2:

I stayed the same from last week. No loss, but no gain. Kind of slacked off on the water over the weekend so I need to watch that. Also just a little too much snacking here and there - need to watch that big time.

because I went up a pound!
That was last week. This week I dropped that pound, and another! 78 total, not bad. ;) Continuing to lose, although very slowly, on maintenance, is ok by me! :sunny:

Now, I'm hoping this upcoming week that I do not fall off the wagon, and HARD, due to DD needing a minor surgery. :( I think that if I plan ahead, and pack my lunch, just like any other day, then I should be all right, and it sure will beat eating hospital food! :crazy2:

Here's to a great week for everyone! :cheer2:

Has anyone ever NOT lost weight while doing WW religiously?

I weigh in on Wednesday but don't expect anything.

How is WW online compared to just doing it on your own?

I'm a lifetime member, and have been on and off WW for twenty years (my fault, not theirs, I like to eat).

When I weigh in every week, there HAVE been times that I did not lose one week, BUT never 2 weeks in a row. I have always had some sort of lose after 2 week if I follow program. I have to remind myself of that at times when things seem to slow down.

Since I am Lifetime, I only have to pay for the meetings that I go to, so I have now started back, but I am only going every other week to weigh in. That way, I should always have a lose (if I follow program), and it is only costing half as much.

Great job, Kim Raye!!!! You are my "maintenance role model" ::yes::

Denine-- is there any chance you have thyroid trouble? You might want to have it checked out. I'm sending :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: your way for your Wednesday WI!!!!

I lost 1.2 lbs this week. I'm tickled pink :rotfl2:

1) Absolutely! I even had a couple 1 lb gains along the way. Unexplainable mostly, but there were times I deserved it. I'll tell you what's maybe MORE depressing, are those .5 lb weeks! Seriously, I'd rather have had nothing that week, and make the next week that much better. ;) I can't complain though, WW has worked for me!!!!

2) Not sure what you mean by "on your own"? Not doing WW meetings? I've been doing WW online for over a year now, and I love it! It takes less time, imo, and gives me the chance to have a 24/7 'meeting' right here, whenever I want or need it! :grouphug:

Thank you Sunny! That was very sweet of you to say.

Good Morning to all........

Weigh in is not until Thursday but thought I would stop by to say hi!! :flower:

Kim - You go girl!! You are a role model to us all!! :worship: :worship: Good Luck with your child's surgery......keeping good thoughts for you :flower:

Denine - I am also doing WW Online - it has taken many months to get used to it.....I actually walked away for awhile thinking I could do it on my own BUT I was wrong :confused3 So I am back with my first weigh in coming up. Keeping fingers crossed :sunny:

I can't commit to a specfic meeting time each week. Life seems to always get in the way. So WW Online -time wise- works for me. PLUS the support I get here on the boards is better than anything I have experienced at a meeting. THANKS!! :grouphug:

TOM has come to visit and really feeling BLAH and crampy. Looking for good results on Thursday. Keeping fingers crossed and looking for some pixie dust. :wizard:

Have a magical Disney Day! :earboy2:

Could you explain WW online. Do you weigh yourself and post your weight somewhere? Do you log in your points online? Do you have 'online' groups? Is it the same price as regular meetings?

If you have done both, what are the good and bad points of each.
Thanks!

I have done WW for years, but never tried the online version.
DJ

chrismiss - sending :wizard: your way for Thursday wi...I will be going on Friday this week (dentist on Thurs :guilty: ) I hope we will be both posting nice losses!

KimRaye - Wow :cheer2: Good for you...I keep reading these wonderful posts for amazing losses and it is keeping me focused. Congratulations :worship:

I hope everyone has a good week and stays focused.....(bathing suits are already out in the stores!!) ;)

Hi DJ! 1) I think you can log on to weightwatchers.com, and see most of the website before you pay to join. 2) Yes, just like at meetings, you weigh yourself, and enter it into your weight tracker, once a week. 3) Yes, you can track your daily/weekly points if you want - I do, every day, and I print out the next day's 'plan' so I don't tend to stray. ;) 4) WW online has discussion boards (like the DIS here) ;) for many different discussions, some for ages, or weight loss, activities, etc. I have rarely visited them, WISH is better imo. :sunny: 5) I believe it's cheaper. After my initial registration fee, I think it's $14.95/month, not whatever regular WWs weekly fee is (maybe $9/week now) :confused3 .

I hope that kinda quickly answers some of your questions. If you'd like more detail, just ask away! :sunny:

Well this past week paid off and I lost 2.6 pounds for a total of 35.6 pounds!!!! Got to claim my new clippie too :cheer2: Now only 4.4 pounds for that 40 pound one ;)
