WW Weekly Weigh-in

Thanks Sundie!! I know what you mean about the magnets being rearranged and my girls are 12 and 9 :hyper:

I'm going to meetings. I got my first 10% last week, so I got my key chain (and display it proudly) I can't wait to say that I lost 25 pounds (it sounds so much better than 20 :hyper: )
 
Yea! I lost another 2.2 pounds! I'm only 1.8 away from my 10 pound bookmark at WW. I can't wait. I'm a little skeptical about being able to do it this week with all the challenges (i.e. activities planned around food :)), but just maybe I can do it. Good luck to everyone this week!
 
I am kinda bummed out. Weighed in tonight and only lost .4 for a total of 9.6 lbs! I so thought I was getting my 10 lb. clippie tonight. I journaled (have all along), and only used 6 flex points all week. I think I drank more than the 48 oz. of water each day too. DARN!

I had a mini-goal of losing 12.2 before Disney at the end of next week, and I have 2.6 to go to get to that goal. Darn, darn, DARN!

I know, I know - I LOST - didn't gain... ::yes::
 
Kristi - Don't let it get you down... I bet next week you'll have a great loss.

Couple of weeks ago, I only lost .2 and was majorly disappointed. I was like you, stayed OP, drank water, etc. The following week I lost 2.6 and today another 3. Just keep hanging in there and it'll come off. Good luck with that goal for your trip.
 

Down 3.8lbs.. For a Total of 91lbs..
I knew I felt my pants looser, and my roll wasnt as big.. But I thought it was just in my head.. Guess Not..

Congrats to all the loosers this week!

Remeber that Thanksgiving is a HoliDAY not a HoliWEEK!!!

Kristi, You must feel really disappointed, but you did lose! And like others said, sometimes it takes another week for the scale to show the progress you've already made. Keep plugging and you'll have that loss.

Tomorrow's the big day huh? I'm going to make the pumpkin spice cake (made it once last week and loved it) and the crustless fat-free, sugar-free pumpkin pie. I'm going to get laughed at for that one!!!! But I don't care! I'm also brining naked butternut squash- not butter, etc. I plan to get a run in before heading to my parent's house to have some APs to play with.

Anyone else want to commit to their T-day strategy?

I have a really weird situation for tomorrow and Friday. I work at a tv station, and of course, there is news on a holiday, so I am working.

My problem is that I work 3:30am-11:30am! Then I will go to Mom's at 1pm for dinner. I need to eat during the "day" at work - but want to eat my turkey dinner too. If I wasn't working, I'd just sleep late, get ready & go for dinner. My big plan so far is to make a huge batch of the garden veggie soup (0 pts.) and eat that all day long at work. Maybe bring some green peppers and 0 cal. dressing too.

AND, I have Thanksgiving at MIL's on Friday afternoon.... :rolleyes:

Oh, and I am making a WW cheesecake for tomorrrow and a WW key lime pie for Friday.
 
Where can I find a WW pumpkin pie recipe that's really good? I have to make two to take to Thanksgiving dinner. I saw someone posted they were making a fat-free, sugar-free pumpkin pie. Sounds good to me!
 
We had Thanksgiving dinner Sunday, since we'll be going out of town. I made the 2 layer pumpkin pie, and just substituted l/f or f/f stuff in the recipe! It was delish! :tongue:

Mermaid - You'll have to go back to the Ticker Factory and redo it (or atleast that's the way I do it)

Kristi - I would do the veggie soup and drink lots of water. That's what I'm planning on doing before heading over to the neighbors to eat. Good Luck!
 
I made the batch of veggie soup for tomorrow, so we'll see how that goes. I think I may also do my oatmeal at 4am. :rolleyes: Eating soup at that hour is just plain wrong! Bad enough at 8am for "lunch."

I am going to make the WW cheesecake now for tomorrow. Hope it's good - I love cheesecake!

I was cutting up the cabbage for the soup and managed to slice off a teeny chuck of the tip of my thumb! This cooking thing gets me every time - this is why I like DH to do it. :rolleyes: It just stopped bleeding after 2 hours - drama always finds me... :crazy: At least I didn't have to go to the ER.

Hi Everyone :D

I was pleased with my Thanksgiving. I ran approx. 7 miles and ate pretty much according to my preplanned agenda. But Friday was a BEAR! I had the hungry horrors all day. I ended up snacking alot and going over my points by about 8. My home scale says I'm down 3 lbs from last Monday, WI is this afternoon-- I am hopeful to see a good loss even with Thanksgiving. I am so glad our instructor had us plan out our Thanksgiving day. I think that really helped me not go off the deep end.

Anyone else wanna share their holiday experience ?

BTW, I love the new tickerfactory holiday choices (as you can see). I like the dis new look, too :flower1:

Let's stay strong as we approach Christmas!!!!!!

Hi everyone. I would like to join your weekly weigh in please. I am getting back on track! YIPEE! I am very excited about it. I know I have a lot of work ahead of me, but I am excited.

When I come back from dropping off my DS from school, I usually hit the DIS and snack. Well first daily success, I didn't snack! Now I just have to get to work so I can get to my WI today!

I'm quite pleased with a .5 lb loss this week, given Thanksgiving and all. :sad2:. So I'm at 71.5 lbs lost so far. Not much more to go! :Pinkbounc

Just back from WI. I am down another 2.8 lbs this week. My instructor told me I am in jeopardy of gull stones if I don't slow down my weight loss. I actually went over my points by about 8 pts this week with Thanksgiving. I guess I will add a few healthy points per day. I don't want health problems. But I am very pleased with my weight loss :)
