I am up 1 pound this week, not surprisingly, but am feeling good and in control, (at least for the past 24 hours
) I journalled every bite yesterday, and am planning to continue with that, and also have been able to get out walking. This is such a great time of year to get out and move, and I'm thinking with thanksgiving and christmas just around the corner, I need to lose a little more so I'll have a buffer for those holidays. I'm not too worried about halloween. I'm planning to buy my candy on that morning, and not before, and we usually give out all or most of it.
gabbygrennell-Welcome back!! Everytime I go back to WW, I wonder why I quit in the first place. I'm doing it on my own now too, and definitely get more support from WISH than I was getting from the meetings. Congrats on your loss to date.
KJo719-Congrats on your loss this week, and for reaching a point where you are happy with your weight. That must be an awesome feeling.
tiggerlover- Congrats on still being under goal!! You are such a motivation. We all have our pig out days, but if it's only one day and we get right back on, no harm is done. It's when one day turns to two, then a week, that we get in trouble.
Bareacuda-congratulations on such a small gain after 3 weeks on a cruise!!! That's really is amazing. Guess you've developed some nice, healthy eating habits. Nice work!!
Have a great losing day!!

I have not posted in a couple weeks and I am not sure why!! Thanks to tiggerlover and mikamah for your continued support!! You guys are so great to always address everybody individually! I would like to do that too, but now since I can't log on to the boards at work (darn filters!!) I literally sit down at the computer for 2 minutes and I just don't have time to read everything!
Anyway, I always read this thread and I think it sounds like we have a bunch of people who are doing really well with their weight losses!! Yay everyone!!!

He found a journal/calculator on line that he is using and he wants to argue point values with me all the time. I tell him that according to the WW book (which is right here in the LR, within easy reach of him) these are the points, but NOOO his "calculator" is right. He spent 30 minutes trying to figure out how many points in a bag of micro popcorn
(high test, big bag, not the fat free snack bags) I told him what the food companion says, but he insisted it was wrong. Oh well, at least he is getting into it and being conscious about what he is eating. Its keeping me honest, thats for sure.
You're doing so well!! Sorry you can't log on at work anymore. I have always been so jealous of people who can dis while they work. I could go on once in a while at my old job, but never can now. It's so funny to see how slow the dis seems to run around lunch time. I bet you can make life time by christmas. What a present to yourself that will be.
because I went on a shopping spree and bought jeans in a size 14. I haven't been a 14 in about a decade! I'm pleased as punch! I still have a while to go on my journey but after losing 68 pounds I'm ready to lose the next 30.
to all of us who are on this journey together!
I have just a few minutes right now but I wanted to share my news.... I made goal!!! Yay!!!! I was so happy! Unfortunately, I couldn't go to my normal meeting time (the meeting time that is best for me is on it's 3rd different leader since I started...I wanted to follow the 2nd leader but her meeting times just didn't work for me!) Anyway, I went to a different meeting and that leader must really have a following! It was PACKED! Anyway I had to share what I was celebrating...she made such a big deal! (bigger than what I have seen from other leaders) She gave me a big hug and made me come up to the front..it was really nice to be recognized but I was a little embarrassed since I didn't know anyone at this meeting! She really made me feel special though and that was great. I left there on a genuine "high"!
(no alcohol or drugs involved! LOL) So now I am contemplating weather to keep on losing (I set my goal at the very top of the range) or try adding a few points.. I am REALLY afraid about gaining the weight back. After I make lifetime, I am going to continue to go to meetings- for sure! I just cannot let myself slip back into my old ways.
