Had my second weigh in this morning and I am down another 2.5 pounds. Im down 6.6 pounds total. :yay:

I will be heading to Legoland tomorrow so wish me luck in making good choices. It will be hard I know. But Im going in planning on doing my best.

Good luck everyone.

Hello WW friends! Congrats to everyone on their losses this week! :cool1:

Tiggerlover - I posted a while back wondering when people would start to notice my weight loss and you were right! As I approach -25, people are starting to notice!! (I am at -22.8.) I don't know why I am so anxious for people to say something, but I guess I am! I am 11 lbs away from goal! I cannot believe it actually. My motivation has been a little down lately, but I am hanging in there. When school starts (next week) I think I can get into a little better routine and will not be tempted by some of the things the kids eat.

Have a great weekend everyone!!

Hey Tiggerlover, we are definitely having a similar week. I have been on track the last 2 days after a couple of days of binging. I also got out for a good bike ride yesterday which always helps. Have a great trip to the mountains. I'm going camping for the weekend, but am planning to bring lots of healthy foods, and will have only one smore each night.

 Hi Mik. I am going to try to reply to this again....my first reply is lost in cyberland somewhere!!!

How was camping? Kudos to you for planning ahead! I had a FANTASTIC vacation, however I do not know what the scale says....will check in the morning. I did not journal, I did not count points and I didn't always eat the best, but I did exercise, exercise, exercise, so I hope that counts for something. I hiked, I tubed and I hiked some more (something I found that I really enjoy). So we will see what tomorrow brings....but I am not worried, I will deal with whatever the scale says. Hope you had a great weekend! Will check in later in the week.

Harvest......good for you for maintaining!!!! Lifetime will be here before you know it!

Baracuda, sorry you missed your goal by .2, I know how frustrating that can be. But 1.6 is cause for celebration!!:cool1:

iggbees, sometimes the oldies are the goodies. I went back to the old program once upon a time and found success too. Keep up the great work!

VernRDH, brighteyes, KJo719 and Stacerita, congrats on your respective losses! A job well done by all! Keep it up (or should I say down!)

Andrea_loves_Disney, I am so glad people are noticing your weight loss. I don't know what it is either, but we all like to hear the validation of our hard work. We work hard to lose and it is great to know people are noticing. 11 pounds to goal is great, you are almost there and at this point you should realize YOU CAN DO THIS. I think our motivation wanes every now and then, we just have to dig deeper and go for the finish line. Congrats on your success to date, you already are a winner!

disneymac, sorry to hear about your slight gain, we all have them and we all hate them. In the grand scheme of things .4 isn't that much. It sounds like you are going to commit to the plan so I am sure you will see results next WI. Hope you made it through your challenging weekend with flying colors!!

Onward and downward folks....we can definitely win at losing, we have the tools, we just have to use them and we will persevere!!!!

I weighed in friday before I went away for the weekend and was down 1.2!! We had a fun weekend camping, but I had a stomach bug, and found I was fine if I didn't eat, so I'm sure I was below points for the whole weekend. Never even had a smore! We camped at Old Orchard Beach in Maine, and it was a little cool for the water, but the kids had a blast, swimming and boogie-boarding. Now I'm working tues-sat, and then I start my 2 week vacation. I'm hoping to lose 1 more pound before vacation, but I'll be weighing in the afternoon instead of the morning, so I won't be surprised if I don't lose this week.

Hi Tiggerlover. Glad you had a great weekend. Hiking is awesome exercise. I"m sure all that exercise will have helped on the scale. But even if you see a gain, you'll be right back on program and lose it in no time. And it sounds like you had a wonderful time. We do have to live and enjoy ourselves.

Andrea_loves_Disney- It is a great feeling when people start to notice you've lost weight. I wear scrubs at work, which hide a multitude of sins, and when I had lost 30 pounds, I went down to the next size and that's when people started noticing. It does motivate me to stay on track. Congratulations on your loss. You're so close to goal!!

Stacerita- congrats on your awesome loss!!! You are right back on track. Nice job. Have a wonderful vacation.

disneymac-Sorry you had a gain, but you seem to have a winning attitude!! Vacation is hard, especially all those theme parks. We are heading to Storyland over labor day weekend. I'd love to hear how you liked Santa's village and six gun city. My son is 5 and we were thinking of hitting Santa's village too. Hope you had a blast.

KJo719- Whoo hoo!!!!! Awesome loss!!!:cool1:

brighteyes- Congrats on your 20 pounds gone!!!!!!! :thumbsup2

VernRDH- Awesome job!!! Your clippie looks marvelous on you!!

iggbees- Congrats on your loss and your new start with the other plan. The flex plan is hard for those who don't use the flex points, or like you feel guilty. I use most of mine every week, and think of them as part of the plan. Good luck.

Bareacuda- Congrats on your loss!! and hugs:hug: on missing goal by so little. Someone up there wants you to work really hard to reach your goal, so you will stay there forever. Good luck with that darn .2 this week!! You can do it!!!

Harvest02- Congrats on maintaining!!!! What a wonderful feeling of accomplishment you must have.

Have a great losing week everyone!!!

I weighed in yesterday and was up 1lb. I'm okay with it though. It's the week before my period and I usually gain at least three pounds of water weight. I also overindulged at a wedding on Saturday, so I figure between that and my monthly bloat, 1lb isn't half bad! Here's to hoping it comes off + some this week!

great job on the losses everyone! thanks for the support!

let's see, this week i stayed the same. no gain, no loss. had it been yesterday i could have said that i lost 1.5 lbs, but yesterday i ate more than i should have. oh well. today was better. i also went out yesterday and bought myself a jump rope. it's been so rainy here the last few weeks i can't go out for walks, so i'm bringing the exercise inside! :thumbsup2

Glad to hear that you lost 1.2, but sure sorry to hear that you had a bug on your weekend away.

I was up a little when I weighed, but nothing major and nothing that I am not already losing. I did enjoy myself and I have no guilt what so ever....which is a big change for me. We are back on track once again.

Sometimes it is rough being a woman....I hate the week before because I always gain too. If you are like me, next week will be much better.

I know it isn't fun staying the same, but at least it wasn't a gain! Hope you get a "jump" on things this week.

Me too!!! I went to WI today, and gained a pound also! I had the MUNCHIES so bad this week because of my TOM starting today. I knew it was going to be bad!!! Hopefully I can get back on track and lose that pound again. I only have a few weeks more to go on maintainance, so hope I can do it!! I have been bad about writing every little thing down, so need some motivation!:wizard:

Weighed in today down 1.6 lbs!! I have 20 days to lose 3.2 lbs before my WDW trip. Slow but steady wins the race.

WI tonight - I was down 1 lb.! Woohoo!

I know it's not much, but at least I'm heading in the right direction! - I try not to get discouraged when people around me are losing 4 and 5 lbs a week - Man, I'd love to have a week like that!! But like VernRDH posted earlier, slow but steady wins the race!

Keep up the good work everybody!! :cheer2: :cheer2:

Lost 1.5 this week!:cool1: I'm down to only 10 pounds to go! Now I just have to figure out how to not over do it on chocolate tomorrow at Hershey Park! Keep up the good work everyone!

Congratulations everyone!! I see some great weight losses this week.

I had a decent week, aside from a lobster fest with my family tuesday evening, and went to weighin on thursday after work, expecting perhaps a small gain or to have stayed the same. I was shocked to hear I gained 7 pounds!!! The leader said that is not possible in one week, and said to watch it. It is definitely fluid, and after weigh in I did notice my legs to have a little swelling. She said to keep an eye on it, in case something medical is going on. I've never had high blood pressure, so I don't know what it is. I'm also just over my period. This happened once before where I gained 8 pounds one week, and lost it all the next week. I'm going to stay on track now, and not worry about the gain, and hope to see it gone in the next 2 weeks. I start my vacation on sunday, and have a couple splurges planned then thursday we are going away and have rented a condo, so I'll be bringing up all our healthy food for the long weekend.

Have a wonderful weekend all. Keep up the great work.

Aren't those munchies a pain!!! Someone sent me an article in regards to diet and TOM and I thought I would share it here since it is a common complaint with a lot of us.

THREE WAYS TO WORK WITH YOUR HORMONES-NOT AGAINST THEM

1) During the first two weeks of your cycle your ovaries are not producing progesterone, which means your brain is not signaling you to eat more food to prepare for a possible pregnancy. These are the perfect two weeks to eat less without feeling deprived.

2) During the second half of your cycle, increases to your progesterone level stimulate the brain to crave sugar and carbs. So the best timne to train your taste buds to say no is before the progesterone spikes.

3) Exercise more during the second two weeks of your cycle. This will help derail your desire for carbohydrates during the progesterone surge. Keeping your carb intake in check during these 26 weeks of the year can make a significant difference when it comes to weight loss.

Great weigh in!!! And 3.2 lbs in three weeks is so doable -- good luck with your goal. There is something to be said about slow and steady!!!

Persistance really pays off!

Lost 1.5 this week!:cool1: I'm down to only 10 pounds to go! Now I just have to figure out how to not over do it on chocolate tomorrow at Hershey Park! Keep up the good work everyone!

:woohoo: Only 10 more to go----you are doing such a great job, you will be there before you know it!!!

As for the chocolate, pop a piece of spicy gum before heading near the chocolate, it may help you stay away from it.

Congratulations everyone!! I see some great weight losses this week.

Boy Mik, I bet you were shocked! Part of it could also be the later WI, but I would definitely keep a watch on the water retention. Try drinking more water and cutting back on your sodium intake and perhaps that will help. Hang in there, girl, keep us posted.

Congratulations to all of you losers this week.;) I haqve to second Tigger, Mik. Push the water and watch the sodium this week. If this trend continues, your MD may want you on a diuretic.

I was down 3.6 for a total of 34.2.

Have a good week everyone.
