WW Weekly Weigh-in

LOOONNNNGGGG overdue visit from me. :guilty:

I STILL need to re-claim my 75lb clippie. I think I have 9lbs to get there but, I need to lose another 5-6 beyond that. :sad2: I fell way off program the past 6 weeks. DH had surgery and we've been home together everyday - sometimes eating out 1-2 times a DAY! NOT working! Oh sure, we sometimes WALKED to lunch but, when you eat at Wendy's, the walking is a NON-issue! :laughing:

I am back online at WW everyday this week and, I am determined to make all those better choices! So far this week, not a problem! Friday is a luncheon at DD's school - I'll be eating like a bird again. Have to! Eat GOOD food at home, later. :thumbsup2 14-15 lbs means a SIZE UP for me! :mad: :headache: I've not been happy. :guilty:

Hi all!! Just back from our trip. Gotta catch up. Did OK eating, my scale shows a 2.0 gain, not sure what it will be on SAT but I did do much better than I could have :rotfl: I was right back exercising today :cool1:

Hope everyone is hanging in there.
 
I haven't been posting regularly in a while but I do read the messages daily. I get such encouragement from the losses (I can do it too) and even the gains (we've all been there) that it helps me get through my day.

I have been on WW since September and after two weeks off staying the same, I lost 2.8 this week for a total of 62. I still have more weight to lose but am hoping I will one day join tiggerlover at goal. I would like to lose 20 more before my trip in August and then I'll see where I am. I know I "should" lose more after that but I'll have to see what's doable for me.

So :woohoo: to all the losers and :grouphug: to the gainers. We can do this together!
 
Welcome back, Kim......you have been missed!!!!! I have confidence that you will be reclaiming that clippie once again, you have been such an inspiration to me and I know you have what it takes to do it!!!

I may have what it takes but it's Thanks to YOU!!! YOU were MY inspiration and 'buddy' here! :hug: YOU lost before me and, I took it from there! :thumbsup2 YOU were sooo incredibly helpful to me over the past 3+ years!!!!!!!!

Yes ladies, men?, fellow WWs and DISers, this IS a lifetime change, not a fad diet. Trust me, I don't care what goal you reach, you HAVE to decide to make this a NEARLY everyday change. ;) It's NOT easy, but it CAN and HAS been done! I will do it again, too! I better!! ;)

Happy weekend everyone! ;) Yesterday was DS's 7th birthday and of course we had a party!! There was pizza and cake everywhere!!!:scared: I had one piece of pizza and one piece of cake!!! If I calculated correctly (pizza 6 pts and cake 12 pts) I only went over my daily points by 5! I have not used any of my weekly 35 pts so I think I did pretty well! I planned for the treats but I still felt guilty about it...wish I could get over that feeling (like I failed or something)! I also walked for an hour yesterday so I have to reassure myself that I am doing okay!!! So the birthday weekend continues today and I think we are going to TGI Fridays for dinner...I am frustrated that the nutritional information for that place is not posted anywhere .... :confused: I know there are some point values listed on dwlz.com but not any of the newer entrees they have. Has anyone had any of their "smaller portion" menu and/or do you know what point values they might be?

I'm in this boat too. I feel guilty about eating "real food" too. I know it's not fair because life contains "real food" but it's something I struggle with too. :thumbsup2 to you for counting the points. I don't always do that when I'm feeling that way.
 
I'm not feeling good about WI coming up on Monday. This has been a tough week (wake, funeral, PMS) and we're supposed to be going out tonight. Keep your fingers crossed for me! I'm gonna do my best - at least we're not going someplace with mega-desserts!!

I'm so glad I found this thread - I need all the extra support I can get!! Thanks.

Andrea_loves_Disney- it sounds like if you used points for pizza and cake, there should be no guilt involved. WW is about eating healthy and in moderation and not depriving yourself. As far as tgi fridays, I've gone to DWLZ and looked up other restaurants with similar foods, and got an estimate of the points value for entrees I might want to have at fridays, and tried to figure them out that way. I find if I just guess on my own, I guess too low. I had a quesadilla at chilis one night, and only ate half of it without sour cream or guacamole and figured it was 10 points for half, but when I checked on dotties, it was 40 points for the whole thing! I don't go out to dinner very often, and try not to feel guilty, but really stay on track the rest of the week to offset the splurge. Hope you had a nice night out.

disneymac- Sorry you have had such a rough week.:hug: Hang in there.

Alrighty, WI was yesterday and I gained 1.6. I am OK with it as it is not a surprise. I am back on track so I am feeling good.

Glad to see so many of us hanging in there :thumbsup2 :cool1:
 
So many people here working very hard. Congratulations to all of you !!!

WI was today lost another 3.8 pounds for a total of 25.8 pounds in 8 weeks. If I can lose 3.8 more pounds I'll hit my first goal to be at or below 250 for my Disney trip in 1 1/2 weeks.

Keep up all the hard work everyone.

Hey all! Just checking in! I was pretty good for the most part this week and my WI was -2.8!!!!!! Not a whole heck of a lot but it's something!!! Enough to keep me encouraged!! Hope everyone has a good week!

Are you serious?? -2.8 is awesome!! Congrats!! Remember, its better to loose slowly, so that number is great. I think -0.2 is great, down is down baby!! :cool1: :banana:

I weighed in today and was up 1.4 pounds, but not surprised since my loss last week was totally fluid and the week before I had been terrible. I feel this is a true weight, and am motivated to bring it down. I've written everything down today, and got a good walk and bike ride in. I bought a trailer bike for my son and he loves it so I'm going to try and ride with him most days after work. We have a vacation to sesame place in 4 weeks, so I'm going to push to lose 5-6 pounds. (that way I'll be able to splurge on vaca.) With better weather here, it's easier to stay on track.

karenTX- I agree with the others- 2.8 is awesome!!!!:cool1: Keep up the great work!!!

Boston5602- Congratulations!!! 25 pounds in 8 weeks is fantastic!!! You deserve a vacation to celebrate.

miss missy- Sorry you had a gain, but not too bad for vacation. Sounds like you got right back on track when you got home and that helps immensely. Keep up the great work!!

Miss Missy, 1.6 is not too bad for after vacation. I did more than that for sure. Glad you were able to be good on vacation and see good results from it!

Mikamah, sorry you had a gain. I hate those weeks when you lose even though it's not really warranted. The next week of balancing out is stinky! I've been thinking of getting a bike trailer for my kids. Actually been thinking for 3 years! By the time I do it they won't fit! My girls wanted to go for a walk today and I didn't so I talked them into planting flowers....I had exercised in the am but now I'm wishing I'd done extra. Oh well, Good luck!

WI was tonight - I gained 1 lb. - not as bad as I thought it would be, but it's back to being good now! I'm shooting for a loss next week!!

I weighed in last night and lost 1.6 for a total of 9.6 lbs in 4 weeks. I'm happy. I only have 11.4 more to go until I hit my ten percent.
