WW Weekly Weigh-in

I think I forgot to check in last week. Last week I gained a pound (too much Easter candy!) and this week I lost the pound that I had gained and an additional half a pound, so hopefully I'm back on track.

Tiggerlover- sorry you had a gain this week, but hope you had a nice time in WDW!

Stacerita- it's hard to stay on track when you can't exercise and have to rely on others to help with your meals. Hopefully your foot will be better soon!

Congrats to all of the losers this week! Keep up the good work!

I've been MIA from WW for a few weeks. Gained 6 pounds in that time  and I am trying to break those habits I so quickly acquired. Why is it that a good habit takes a long time to become a habit- but have a bowl of ice cream a couple nights and it's a routine??:confused3

Anyway- I'm back! Congrats to all the losers this week!

Well, I gained 4 pounds back.:confused3 I am so frustrated. :confused3 I know it's because of my monthly visitor. Because I stayed within my points. I did not get to do my water areobics and my deep water walking areobics either. I walked 4 miles this week. I am just flustered. I hope I can take it back off by next Thursday. Sorry I am just venting. I hope all of you did well this week. You all have a good week.

So, I ate myself around WDW.......

....and I paid the price. I gained 4.4 pounds during my 9 day vacation.

Was thinking it was only 2 pounds, shocked to see it was over 4 pounds, but I am not kicking myself. I made the choices I made and will live with it (have no choice). Back to the drawing board for me, I have 5 weeks of maintenance to lose it so I have to get serious if I want that lifetime award.

Well I am sure you walked quite a bit and that is could of been more. Where you on the dining plan? I did the dining plan once but found it was way too much food and will not do it again! I really felt I over ate every meal for the whole trip!

I go soon to WDW, I am hoping to come out even, but it will be a challenge.

You have done great and I am sure you will get it off in no time! Just keep up the good work and you'll see!

You can do it and you will do it

Well I went to WI today and lost 1.2 :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: my total is 11.4 :cool1: :cool1: I ate out 3 days this week too!! I made better choices and took half home.. so two meals for one.. love that!

Congrat to everyone with a loss this week and if you didn't have a loss, please know we are all there and its normal and keep on and you will do fine!!

WE ALL ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!

ps I'll update my siggy when I have time at home LOL.. someday!

Tiggerlover-:grouphug: Sorry about your gain, but glad you had a great time in WDW. You definitely have the attitude and resolve to make lifetime in 5 weeks. Wow, lifetime is right around the corner for you. That's great motivation. You can do it!!!!

Harvest02- Congratulations!! It's definitely true for me that I need most of my flex points to keep up my metabolism to lose weight. (it's keeping it under the 35 that is my challenge)

:welcome: joann and good luck to you. This is a great place for inspiration and support. I agree with tiggerlover about using the flex points and think they help keep your metabolism up.

Stacerita-Hope your back on your foot again soon. Sorry you had a gain, but sounds like you are right back on track and will lose that quickly. Hang in there.

KJo719- Great job making the easter candy gain just one week. I made it 2 weeks, but am hoping to see it gone on monday.

Mermaid02- Welcome back and hugs on the gain. I too find it amazing how easy it is to go on a backwards slide, but when I'm on track, it is so difficult to hang in there more than a week. Ice cream season is here now too! One more challenge to deal with. Good luck!

Daisy2- Hang in there. It's so frustrating when you do all the right things, and still see a gain. It's definitely fluid, and if you stick with it you will lose that weight next week. Sometimes it takes a couple weeks to reap the reward on the scale, but you're doing the right thing. Good luck!

Hope you're all having a great weekend!

I have no idea how you can keep up and write to everyone, but I always look forward to your posts! Thanks for taking the time to do that! Your so awesome! :goodvibes

Thanks for the encouragement Mikamah! I did pretty well yesterday and I used my elliptical (we used to be so close, now I feel like I'm getting to know that machine all over again;) ) anyhoo- I used the elliptical for 20 minutes and then I walked my son to the park and walked around it for a while. My joints and muscles are feeling it today. Gotta have some breakfast and take some Aleve.

Down 1.4 this week, bringing my total to 9.8lbs. Was really hoping to get to an even 10lbs but I'm still pleased!

Thanks miss missy. You are awesome as well and a great support and inspiration to all of us. I don't get around here as often as I'd like, so when I have time I try to give the support I've received here back. This is my favorite place on the Dis. The Wish board is the only board where everyone is always positive toward everyone else. I'm shocked sometimes when I'm poking around the other boards with how nasty people can get sometimes. This is also the first place I've ever posted on a board and "met" all you wonderful people through the internet. It's so fun. I think we posted at the same time the other night, and I didn't see your post. Congratulations on your loss!!!!! :cool1:

drgnfly30-Whoo hoo!!:thumbsup2 Great job!!

I weigh in this morning, and this is the first week in months that I have stayed completely on program. I didn't even use all my flex points, and didn't take any activitiy points, and got out and walked or biked every day but one. Hopefully I'll see a loss to keep me motivated.

Have a great day everyone.:)

Be sure to check back with us later! I am sure you feel great no matter what the scale says! :thumbsup2

Weigh in today----down 3.8!!! I am so excited. It feels like it was my first week at ww all over again, and I'm pumped to continue and lose the rest of this weight. I also get my 20 pound clippie since joining wish last may, and I'm in a new decade- down to 188.8 which I haven't seen in at least 7 years.
The 190s are gone forever. That's definitely motivation for me to stick with it.:woohoo:

Have an awesome week!!!

Yay, Yay, Yay!!! Wonderful work Mikamah!!! I'm so happy for you. I love to reach the new 10 lb bracket below or decade as you said!! Do you think the difference was not eating all the 35? My leader suggested it to me last week. But this week I'm gonna be eating them all  Oh well!!

Way to go!!

Wow KJo great job getting the extra weight gain off in one week! It always takes me twice as long to get it off than it did to get it on!!!

Mermaid and Daisy, I'm so sorry you had gains. I've been gaining the last 3 weeks. And I just want to jump off of something. It is so frustrating. And I agree with you Mermaid about the bad habits being so easy to stick with! Daisy you will have a much better week next week. After TOM it will be all gone! Good luck!

Miss missy, Congratulations!!! so you hit over 10 lbs this week! Does your leader give out the 5 lb star stickers? I so look forward to getting those!! Good Job!

Drgonfly, 1.4! Way to go! I love losses of more than a pound!! keep it up!

Hope everyone is having a great week. The weather in New England is so nice. My girls and I were wearing shorts today! Good luck to alll!!

Had my weekly weigh-in and am happy to report I lost 4 pounds this week!! :)

WTG to all the other "losers"

Miss Missy, we weren't on a dining plan, we just ate when and where we wanted. We made ressies for one main meal a day, grabbed something at the hotel for breakfast and the rest of the day we winged it. I have to admit I used this trip as an excuse to eat things I hadn't had in a while. Every morning I had a toasted bagel with butter and I did eat two whole hot pretzels and a cookie ice cream sandwich. I enjoyed every bite and have no regrets what so ever. I did find myself making choices I normally would have ignored (good choices that is) and I didn't snack any more than that really. I wanted other things (Dole Whip for one), but didn't because I wasn't hungry when we were near by. So I definitely did better this trip than before I did WW.

Congrats on your 1.2# loss, you are doing a great job!!!

Thanks, Mik. I think part of the attitude is the realization that this isn't really a diet, it is my life. I would like to think that I have learned enough this time around to make this a life change forever, but in the back of my mind there is that little fat voice that wonders how long I can keep this up. Although I feel that way at times, right now, I know I can succeed and that is what I am striving to do.

You and all of my fellow WISHers continue to inspire me and keep me motivated and coming back, so a great big thanks to everyone!:cheer2:

I know what you mean, I used to be very close to the elliptical, it is a great piece of equipment, unfortuneately I haven't been close to mine in a while. I think it is time to get reaquainted! Good for you for rebuilding that "relationship".
