Thanks for the encouragement everyone, I really appreciate it.
Kim, it is so good to see you post again....hoping all is well with you and your efforts. I miss "seeing" you around here.
daisy2, kudos to your DH, that is great. It is great that you have him right there to inspire you to go on. Good luck getting back on the band wagon.
iggbees, I have learned that some people in the office do want to sabotage you, they may be showing it in the form of "niceness", but anyone who brings you foods you really shouldn't have and KNOWS you are on a weight loss program is just plain mean. I have to tell you, with all of the girl scout cookies floating around the temptations have been hard, but someone told me about the WW 2 PT chocolate mint bars and they taste just like a thin mint, but bigger. I had one yesterday and was in heaven.
KATHINOWA, 1.6 is AWESOME!! You are right, 2 pounds a week is not realistic, so give yourself some slack. We all would love to put up big weekly numbers, but it isn't the way it goes most weeks. Celebrate any loss, especially if it is at least a pound!!! You are doing such a great job!
missmissy, researching is a great tool, this allows you to know the points of different places so it is easier to chose what you are eating. What restaurant do you have that does WW points, I'd love to know if there is one in my area (besides Applebees). A friend of mine here was on business in Great Lakes, Illinois and she went to a little whole in the wall place near the military base and she was pleasantly surprised that they had WW points listed, so it is always nice to stumble on a place that does that. Can't wait to hear how your first WI went, keep us posted.
Mik, I hear ya about the menopause thing, we have several (hot flashing) women in the office and I don't look forward to hitting that period of my life. Although I am 40, 50 seems not all that far away and my MIL started menopause at 43, so I suppose it can even be sooner as opposed to later.
Hope you all have an awesome week! Onward and downward!
