WOW, now I know why you call yourself "Eeyore"! I'd be THRILLED with 2 lbs. a week, and so should you...congratulations! And be careful, you don't want to lose too fast. 2lbs is healthy.

I agree with Ursula...take this slow and steady. 10lbs in 2 weeks is FANTASTIC! :cheer2: It took me 3 weeks to lose that, and then things started leveling off. I don't know how much you want/need to lose, but please don't give up when the losing comes down to 1-2 lbs/week, or less! It happens! :confused3 Slow and steady wins the race. :thumbsup2

Thanks for the support everyone. I hope to lose 60 pounds total. I'm competing with my sister who lost 12 pounds in 2 weeks, my husband lost 14 in the 2 weeks. It took me 7 years & 2 kids to gain the 60 pounds so I know it will take a while to lose, I've never been one to have patients.
 

I joined WW on 3/4. So far I'm down 9.8 pounds. I have a lot more to go and was pretty mad I just missed my 10 pound ribbon. I have a goal to lose 8 to 10 pounds a month. I really need to do this. I've done WW before and I know it works, it's just hard to keep with it. During the week I'm pretty good but not the weekends. How do you all keep motivated??? I am really having a hard time excersising. I have a treadmill and I'm a SAHM, so I have some time when the kids nap, but I always choose something else. Laundry, dishes, paper work.....

I also never write down my points. I've always been bad at that. I start off good, but can never do it all week. I wonder if I should switch to the CORE plan. Can you go back and forht between the two???

I'm glad I found this thread. Hopefully in addition to my weekly meeting this will be a great tool as well.
 
I am finally back. Being gone for a week to Disney and then only being home 3 days before heading to the beach can play with your focus. I went to WI this morning and I had lost the pound that I had gained at WDW. I am now at 29.8 which is so close to 30 pounds gone so I will have that next week. I am back to writing in my journal and drinking my water. Have a wonderful week everyone!! You all are doing great. Sorry I've not addressed everyone individually but will be keeping up now.
 
I'm only down half a pound this week due to a wonderful weekend with my sorority sisters at our state conference. :rolleyes: But it was worth it! I'll try to do better this week.
 
Kim-Thanks, it is good to be back. I have stayed focused today and feel more in control. Maintaining is a great thing for you!!

RAMWDWFAN-A half a pound is a loss no matter how you look at it. You could have had a gain but you didn't. Glad you enjoyed yourself and now you are ready to get serious.

I am so upset right now. I weighed in at noon today since we are going to see the Goo Goo Dolls tomorrow night. Anyway...I was up 1.2 lbs.! I am about ready to do this :furious: or :sad:.

I am at such a loss. I have been at this since October '04 and as of today I am only down 28 lbs. I've known from day one that I was a very slow loser - I accept that. But this is ridiculous! I was a good girl last week! I even exercised 6 out of 7 days, with Saturday being a 6 mile walk/run! And I know - everyone says I gained muscle, blah, blah, blah - we'll I've been faithgully exercising and training for the Minnie 15k since January and I am still not losing!!!

Thanks for letting me vent guys! I feel better now - off to do my 3 miles outside now.

At least I have Johnny Rzenik to drool over tomorrow night! :lovestruc

This might be something you may want to try...(I am in no way endorsing this or have I tried it) but this was something I came across on the WW boards and thought you might want to take a look at it.

I know how you feel, because when I only lost .6 one week, thought it was the end of the world...I even had to walk out of the meeting because I was so upset, so I do not even know how I would be if I gained.

I have been doing the Wendi plan too. And exercising. And the oil, finally. The only thing I can think of, is that maybe this is a leftover gain from the week before when I was sick. While I was sick, I stuck within my pts. but ate things like frozen yogurt alot since my throat hurt so bad. You know how sometimes it takes that extra week to catch up with you - good or bad? Maybe that's what happened. :confused3

I am done pouting now. I will do better next week! I really want to stop paying WW - 8.2 lb.s to go now.

Besides, I have to get rid of this pout before I see my 'boyfriend' tomorrow night! :teeth:
 
Hi!

I haven't been by in a while, but it looks like everyone is doing great.

I missed one weigh in and was up .6 lbs last week. Part of that was TOM and part of that was the week before was just BAD! LOL!

So now I have lost something like 11 lbs since late January. I post that to encourage all of you who seem very upset at small losses. To be honest if you let a very small loss or a gain get you very upset I think you are setting yourself up for failure. It's just a small step from there to "this doesn't work I'll eat whatever I want" And we all know how well that works! :rolleyes1

I think you really have to look at this as a lifelong journey. And it's not like you went to bed one night at 110 lbs and woke up the next morning overweight.....It comes on gradually and it goes off the same way.

Hang in there.
 
Hi all...well I'm just back from my weekly weigh in and I lost another 2.6 lbs this week making my total for 3 weeks 10.8 pounds...I never thought I could lose 10 lbs in 3 weeks...thanks for the encouragement and good luck weighing in this week...
 
Hi all, I am new to this thread but not to WW. I have been on it for about 2 months now and am down a total of 24 lbs. I have done ww before and know it works for me...if I had just followed its principles while I was pregnant I wouldn't be in the mess I am currently in! I still have 36 lbs to go, just to get to pre-pregnancy weight and then I will have another 40 to go to get to a healthier level...though that won't even get me down to what WW says is the right weight for me! So I am trying to lose the 36 before I go on the DIS ladies only trip in late september...my short term goal! I look forward to reading the posts here!

Just had my WW weigh-in...dropped another 3.4 lbs! That puts me at over 27 lbs off, and hit my first 10%! I'm so psyched!
 
Had my weekly weigh in this morning. I'm down another 2.2 lb for a total of 14.6 in 4 weeks. My goal is 2 lb a week and I'm doing great! Good luck everyone!

For those discouraged about SLOW loss, don't feel bad.

I rejoined in January -

Week 1 - - 4.4
Week 2 - - 1.2
Week 3 - absent
Week 4 - - 1.4
Week 5 - absent
Week 6 - NO loss, No gain
Week 7 - - .4
Week 8 - absent
Week 9 - - .6
Week 10 - - .2
Week 11 - - .6

11 weeks and my total loss is 8.8 pounds. UGH!!!!

I stay OP, I exercise at least 1 hour 5 - 7 days/week(see my journal). Usually 2 - 3 of those have 45 min+ of weights, the rest is cardio, and I'm losing SO SLOWLY!!!

I keep wondering what I'm doing wrong, but I keep chugging away.
 
Missed last week's weigh in, so for 2 weeks I was down 3.8!!!!! :banana:
16.4 total!! Yahooooooooo!!!
