Morning All!! :wave:

Been lurking on this thread looking for the right moment to jump in. After not doing well on CORE at all I decided yesterday to switch to FLEX.

First day went well - stayed within my point guideline. Hoping for a good week.

Tammy - so sorry to hear about your dad. :grouphug:

Kim - Good going on the weight loss!! :thumbsup2

Beckmrk - I am a newbie just like you - ok well not really - have tried this before. :rotfl2: Welcome!!

WDWlvr - Good Attitude!! You will soon be back on track!!

Tammy - :hug: I know how hard it is to lose a parent. Both of mine are gone and while I never knew my Dad losing my Mom in 1997 was very hard. Definately take time to enjoy each day. Can't think of a better place to do it than WDW so go and enjoy each and every moment.
 
Just a quick note to say I lost 5 pounds this week and hit my 10%!! :thumbsup2 I also have to switch my clippie, which I'll do momentarily. :banana:

CONGRATS!!!!!!!!

The new clippie looks good on you!!! I am hoping to reach my 10% this weekend at weigh-in, but it is TOM so :rolleyes: . Hopefully that will be done by Sat. and I will be good to go!!!

I guess those girl scout cookies are going to have to eat themselves, because i am not going to stall again :p

WDWLVR-I was happy to read your comment "this was just a bump in the road" and that you weren't letting this WI get you down. I know what you mean about the pounds going on so much easier than they come off. I think our body just likes to be cruel to us sometimes. Keep up that positive thinking and you'll be glad you stayed on track this. :sunny:

Misty89-Good going on your loss. How about freezing those GS cookies then you can just pull out one when you have worked it out within your points?

Thanks everyone for letting me have my moment earlier in the week. I am feeling much better and can attribute the mood swing with TOM that wasn't expected. :confused3

Morning and CONGRATS on your losses - creeping towards the 160s!! At 171.0 this morning - official weigh is not until next Tuesday BUT I will be in WDW WOO HOO!!! Do they have scales there?:):)

Good going on that mid-week WI. Hey, we will be in WDW next week, we are leaving a week from today :cool1: . This has been a LONGGGG week. I have to say that I took my scales with me on our trip in December just to keep tabs on myself.
 
Kristi1357-Now, .8 isn't even a pound. It could have been a number of things including you having retained some extra fluid because of salt in take or could have been the difference in your clothes. I liked seeing the dancing banana though, keep focused and drink lots of water.

I know - .8 isn't bad. But I wasn't an angel last weekend either. :rolleyes1 I was hoping all this exercise I've been doing would keep me from gaining though. Oh well - my fault!

I think the banana guy looks like me doing my Leslie Sansone DVD. She does a move where you reach out to the corners of the room and pull back - kinda looks like the dance he's doing...maybe.... :)

My friend Sam just got back from WDW - and she still lost 4 lbs. over the 2 week span.

I was down 1 lb last night which meant...I hit the 10 lb mark!!
Hooray! So I changed my clippie!! :Pinkbounc :banana:
Can't believe it!

I don't feel a whole lot thinner but I have so much more energy already. I know the next 10 lbs will be when it starts to show-- always works that way!

I made a batch of cupcakes for work and didn't even have any!!

Yay!!!

Down anonther 1.8 today for a total loss of 8 pounds. I hope to at least maintain this week as I have sales meetings in Vegas and am the mercy of the food offered to me.
 
Kristi1357-Thanks for that good news about your friend losing while at WDW. We are planning on watching our portions and sharing as many meals as we can. :thumbsup2

saturday97-Your new clippie looks great on you. Thanks for sharing your good news. Good for you on being able to bake those sweets and not eat them. :cool1:

KimRaye-I love to be called a loser when I'm on here too. :sunny:

knovak-Way to go on your loss this week, keep up the great work. Even though you won't have complete control over your meals while you are away, try to get in lots of water and eat your fruits and veggies when you can. :banana:

Can I join?

I started WW 7 weeks ago. I am a slow loser and that fact is not helped by the fact that this is rhe FIRST week of those 7 that I have not been on the road Monday - Friday on business trips :moped: (Plus we kept CANDY in our workroom!)

However, as of yesterday I had lost 9.8 lbs :banana: My first little goal was to lose 10 pounds before I went to Disney for the weekend on March 31 to meet some friends so I think I can do that.

My next one will be another 10 lbs before the Disney cruise on June 4. (I am going with my size 6 SIL and my size 4 mother! :sad2: I think with the current loss I am a size 12. LOL!)

I am doing Flex since I felt that it would be easier with the travel and since it's working I am not going to change right now.

I am also "training" for the Minnie. I have signed up and have begun running, but have not booked hotels etc. I want to see how I do. I am currently running 3 miles a few days a week so we will see if I can pick it up

Welcome to the thread, glad that you jumped right on in. You are doing great on your loss, just keep up the great work. :cool1:

Losing slowly isn't a bad thing, you are losing, exercising and doing wonderful.

Check back in and let us know how you are doing.

Make sure to grab your clippie, it sure is fun when we get to change them. :thumbsup2

CarolA - hate to break it to ya - but I am the SLOW loser around here! :teeth: You are doing great! :cheer2: I only wish I could drop almost 10 lbs. in 7 weeks! I have been hanging around 10 lbs. above goal since July! I am doing the Minnie 15k also - needed something to get my butt in gear and lose these last 10 lbs.

RAMWDWFAN - great job losing another 1.5! :cheer2:

My weigh in is not until Weds. night, but I feel like I lost. I hope I am not wrong! :worship: (this is me praying to the weight loss gods)
