WW Weekly Weigh In--- Part 2

I weighed in today and lost 2 pounds. I've now completed 10 weeks of WW and have a total loss of 22.2 pounds.

My goal is 50. :)

:woohoo::woohoo:

Starting Weight:220.8
Todays Weight:196
Total Weight Loss:24.8

:cheer2::cheer2:

Starting Weight: 321.4
This weeks Weight 299.6
Total Loss 21.8

I'm about 11lbs away from my 10% and it feels possible! Who knows...I might even hit it before Disney in September! :cheer2:

Congrats to all of you! Weigh to go!

Congratulations!

I lost 2.2 lbs last week! :cool1: I am down 17.6 lbs or 8 kg (like the pounds figur much better! :lmao:) and just 0.9 lb away from my 10% goal!

I really am slow at loosing my weight, my average is less than one pound per week. But I realized now that it's not about getting to your goal as fast as possible, but also about learning to eat healthy. I really don't compromise my life style. And last week I realized that I am actually enjoying my life as it is at the moment and was wondering how strange it will be to actually have to eat more at one point in order to maintain my weight and not loose more... I am sure I can manage that... :lmao: But what I mean to say is that I am happy with what I can eat now! So if I can keep that feeling of content and still loose weight, even if it is a bit slower, I am really happy!!

You are doing so well! I am also not a fast loser, but I also realized it was more about making good choices, getting healthier and that the rest would follow. Keep going, you are cruising!

I finally made a meeting this morning and was happy with the results. I lost 1.6 and am now 5 pounds under my goal weight. This is really how I wanted to live, making healthy choices without obsessing about food. Thank goodness WW does have a plan that worked for me, I doubt I would have been able to do this any other way.

Thanks to all of you who have been here. I need accountability and without meetings would have been well on my way back to my size 16's so I am so happy you are all here! :grouphug:

Happy Friday!

Congratulations to all the losers. There are some awesome results:goodvibes
I am down the 1lb I gained last week. Better than gaining, but I was hoping for more. I am 1/2lb away from my next reward. I am replacing my I-pod shuffle that I lost. Hopefully I will be getting it next week.

Have a great weekend!

The moment that I had been waiting for.. Lifetime Member. It felt so good to reach the end of the first part of the journey. The next part is living the WW way of life of healthy eating and exercise.

I got a little emotional in the meeting today when I received my Lifetime "key". Felt all the support of everyone in our meeting. It was overwhelming.

To everyone still on the first part of your weight loss journey, KEEP GOING! You can do it. I am a living example of what can be achieved when you set your mind to it and make the commitment to yourself. You're worth it.

Have a losing week everyone!

Weighted in a day late, due to my daughter's 12th birthday sleepover!! Had a great time, but ate a lot of junk, having a difficult time writing my stuff down since coming back from vacation, and now we are headed out camping next week again. But I still lost this week, with a 1.4lb weight loss!! Any advice on how to keep on track with journaling would be great now that I have been doing this for over 3 months. My vacation is coming soon and I know I will hit my vacation goal of 30lbs weight loss, only 4.6lbs to go!!!

1.4lb is great!! I am getting to that point as well where I start feeling too lazy to track points. However, I found it really helpful to sit down and actually try to write everything I remember down even for past days when I didn't do it on the day. I know that I will miss things, but aing that feeling of having everyday in my journal really helps me to keep on doing it.

I got to an important goal myself yesterday: I managed to get to my 10% goal!:banana: I am so excited! Next goals will be the halfway point between my start weight and my goal and the 10kg mark. Those are within easy reach now!

1 pound is good! I know that teh humidity has played a part in our losses here. According to the leader the weather affects more than hair.

You are doing so well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm down another half pound this week, but getting frustrated with my weigh in day. I do weigh in daily at home (leftover from past medical experiences) and it never fails that on my weigh in day, I weigh ~ 2 lbs more than I did the day before. I know the cause (medical treatments) but I'm thinking about changing my weigh in to the day before. If only, just once, to see that bigger drop :) And I know that the extra weight isn't really there and that I'm going down overall, it's just a little frustrating some times! Any thoughts?

I had a small gain last week but made up for it in my loss this week! I'm back under 300! :woohoo:

Have a great week everyone! Stay positive!

I lost .8 this week, which makes 17.6 total! I think I forgot to post last week, but I was down .4 then. I've been a little bad these last couple of weeks because I haven't been writing down what I eat. I've got to get back to doing this or I know I'll start gaining.

School starts back next week, so that will be a whole different thing. I've always eaten in the cafeteria, but I'll have to bring my lunch somedays and just take it to the cafeteria. I like getting out of our building for lunch, so I don't want to just eat in my room. I'm trying to see if some of my coworkers want to start a WW group and have meetings there. I think that would motivate me even more, so I hope I can get the 10 necessary people on board.

I would suggest tossing your home scale out the door! I know that it is hard to stay off of the scale but if you make it a practice to WI once a week on the same day and at the same time on the same scale you will avoid those weekly disappointments. Also, if you are weighing in in the afternoon or evening try to stop drinking a few hours prior to your WI. You can weigh as much as two pounds more at night than you do in the morning. Even though you know it may be phantom weight due to the medical issues, seeing that amount on the scale week after week has got to leave you deflated after working so hard during the week but it is paying off! And if changing the day will lift your spirits then I would change it in a heartbeat. This is not a short road so anything that you can do to help maintain your motivation is worth it. Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!!!

When I was working I always packed my lunch. I ate in the Cafe but I was one of a few who would not buy lunch at work, I refused to have work cost me money ;). can you figure out how much lunch would cost per month and then use that money as a reward? Even if you could enlist a few coworkers to join you and then once a month get together for a mani or pedi, or perhaps a new itemof clothing for the new you, something to give you an incentive to avoid cafeteria food.

Hi everyone
I haven't seen this thread for a while. I've been really bad at staying on program all summer ~ actually it's been a long time. I originally lost 30 lbs and made Lifetime April 2008.

As of last Wednesday I was 15 lbs over my personal goal :guilty:(7 lbs over my WW goal ~ I set my WW goal a little higher than I really wanted to be). I weigh in tomorrow for the first time in a month. I really really need to get back on track. I did okay this week ~ tried to write it all down and stick to the points. Exercised 6 days also. Hopefully I will see some results tomorrow!

I have decided to come back to this thread and to weigh in every week. My new goal is to be back at my personal goal (or very close) by my birthday next month. I am turning 40 and I desperately want to be at my best weight for that!

Have to share a new food I discovered tonight. I got a coupon for Green Giant Just for One frozen vegetables ~ I bought cauliflower and cheese sauce ~ it was 0 points for a serving. I baked a potato and added the cauliflower and cheese sauce on top. OMG! it was so good!

You can do it! I think that you are not alone with the Summer Struggle. I went to a meeting last week and the topic was how to get back vacation mode. liked this leader, she discussed how to start tracking food or getting water in without getting freaked out. For instance, track but do not count points for a week or maybe just increase water for one week and work on another challenge the following week. She asked us to commit to just one thing that we were going to do.

cepmom, I hope your WI went well. :thumbsup2

I was away for some time and did not weigh in, but I am happy to report that I managed to loose 1.8 lbs during the last three weeks even though there were some events that were not very WW compatible!! :cool1:

I am now at 75 kg (165 lbs), so halfway between the 80 and 70 marks. I still remember posting here about my struggle to get under 80 and now I am already starting to get closer to 70!! The next goal for me will be 72 kg, which means a healthy BMI. I plan to get there by November 6th, my birthday! :goodvibes

thanks Flossbolna for the good thoughts...Great job on your loss!

I am back from WI and I am down 5.4 lbs :cool1: Now last week's WI was high, most likely from that time of month, and I know a big part of this loss was water weight, but I am so thrilled! What a good boost to my motivation!

I have two challenges this wekeend; two parties for my niece nad nephew's birthdays. Cookout on one day, pizza the next. It's going to be tough but I know I can get through it!

hi everyone! i am in the process of kickstarting myself back into WW mode. I lost almost 20lbs counting points about 5 years ago. thankfully i have only 10 lbs to get back to my happy point but i'm sure dragging my feet.

anyhow, question. i have the PDA WW journal program that used to be online, found through Dottie's site. I have beamed it to my Palm phone but i'm having trouble with the program recognizing the food lists. if anyone has solved this issue, can you help me?

ohMom...
sorry I can't help with your PDA problem...I generally just stick to my trusty food book and journaling in my little tracker. I have trouble online with the system recognizing foods, so I just gave it up.

I lost 30 lbs on WW and gained some back...it's that last 10lbs that's a killer isn't it?

On to my weigh in, week 2. After an astounding loss last week, I am sad to report I gained 1.4 this week :sad2:. I had a real problem staying on program all week. It's that bad habit I developed of weighing in for the month, then going off program for the "day" which of course turns into the whole week. But, I did fulfill my promise to weigh in regardless of which direction the scale was going in (which I normally would skip becasue I hate seeing a gain written in my book) so even though I gained, I am happy that I didn't skip my weigh in and my meeting today.

Not too many challenges this upcoming week; no Labor Day plans, but DH and I are going to the Red Sox game on Tuesday (couldn't have picked a worse night....the night before weigh in:rolleyes:) but I am determined to lose this week anyway:thumbsup2

Cepmom, thanks for bumping the thread, I would have gone searching for it today as well as it is my weigh in day. Where is everybody? I'd love to hear from you!!

I gained as well. 1.8 lbs, which seems to be the number for the day... :sad2::sad2:

Well, I know that it was from a weekend visit to my sister's parents in law. And I had some really great meals. So I just start again and am certain that I will manage to lose them again! :thumbsup2

Cepmom, I find that I do much better with my days off program if I sit down even after they happened and track everything I ate. Continuing doing that really helps me to get back into the program after a day off. To be honest, I find it difficult to follow my own advise at the moment with the results posted above. But I am determined that this week everything will be tracked!!! :headache:

WI this week, first gain:headache: 0.4lbs. A couple of days before I weighted in I was down, but I think my monthy friend is coming any day. Well I have been having a hard summer, with lots of vacations and eating out. Trying reallllllly hard to stay on task, but not keeping track of my points. I only have less then a month till my vacation and I want to be under 190lbs. Only 5 lbs to go...I know I am going to make it :thumbsup2!!!! Hope everyone out there is having a great week!
