I haven't posted on this board for quite a while. Forgot how much I loved reading about everyone's successes. Truly motivating.
This week-end will be my 1 year anniversary of joining WW, and I hope to be at goal, with a total weight loss of 54 pounds. It's been a great journey, and I think the hard part is next...keeping it off. Luckily, my husband joined WW in January and has a ways to go before he makes goal, so it will be not be so hard since I will still have a partner in weight loss.
I am enjoying all the new clothes that I had to buy. Down from a size 18 to a size 8, plus all the compliments from people that I have not seen in a while. Once all the excitement dies down, it will just be me and the scale, and a lifelong commitment to keep the weight off. I fully intend to keep going to the meetings on a weekly basis.
To all that have just started the journey, have faith. You can do it. This was my 4th time joining WW, but I made the full commitment this time, and nothing was going to deter me from reaching goal. You will have some ups and downs (downs being good in this case), but just keep your eye on the prize. WW DOES work, and as they say, it is not a diet, but a way of life.
Hope everyone has a losing week.

I have 1.7lbs to make it to my next goal. Aqua aerobics will start up at the park June 22nd, so I'll be adding that to my exercise. Right now I am mostly doing the Leslie Sansone DVD's. I have quite the collection, which is funny because they are basically the same thing

) and tired of it. I counted points a few years ago on my own (bought the books from eBay) and had really good success. Two children later doing it on my own isn't working. I'm not obese, but I'm not at a decent weight either. I'm really upset that I've left all this baby weight on for so long. Anyway, I've never been to a real meeting before so I'd love any first time you visit stories you can share. I'll post back in tomorrow after my goal is set! Thank you for any support -- I'll need it
I am really happy with that! Yesterday I was wearing my best pair of trousers at work - and decided that that was the last time: they don't look elegant any more, they just are too big!!
.
to you!
Welcome Home
I'm averaging 1.62 pounds per week and that's with very limited exercise.
! Actually, she was being very kind and told me about the one month pass (whatever it's called) that you can buy online and explained how it is a much better deal. So she sent me home to register (I couldn't use their computer to sign up for some reason) and then I'm supposed to come back with my pass. Kind of a downer after I was all in high gear to begin today, but it was very nice of her. So I guess I'll try my best to monitor myself this week and then go for it again next week!
