I am interested in starting WW online. I don't do well with regular WW because I have trouble making the meetings, and don't like weighing in in front of a bunch of old hens.
I am 49. 6 months from today my daughter gets married. I'd like to lose at least 35 by then; 50 would be nice but I'm being realistic.
If I buy the WW online membership, what foods should I have here at home to work with? I'll have to pack lunches and have simple, grab and go breakfasts because I teach and don't have anywhere to cook (and already get up at 6).

Produce, chicken and fish will be your staples. If you do points plus, most produce is zero points value, so you will be doing a LOT of fruits & veggies. I did ww online and lost 25 lbs last year. If you have a smart phone, get the scanning app. Then you can run around the grocery score scanning everything before you buy.

Congratulations on the upcoming wedding! How exciting! The 35 pounds is definitely possible. The 50 pounds might be a reach, but still possible if you really work the system.

I've been on WW for 5 years now. My go-to foods are egg whites, low carb wraps and pitas, veggie burgers, plain nonfat Greek yogurt, light cheese snacks (Baby Bel is nice), almond milk, salmon burgers, Newman's light salad dressings, Vitamuffins (lots of carbs but nice for the occasional snack or treat), green teas, fat-free refried beans, low fat shredded cheeses, organic all-natural peanut butter, quinoa, all natural sliced turkey, and LOTS AND LOTS of fruits and veggies.

Grab and go breakfasts....toast and peanut butter and fruit, egg white wrap (you will need to plan ahead for this if you don't build in the time to make it fresh in the morning), steel cut oats in the crockpot, yogurt (I throw a serving of yogurt, a bit of stevia and vanilla, and a handful of berries into a container, grab a spoon, and eat when I get to school)...even nontraditional breakfasts like a turkey sandwich, dinner leftovers.

Brown bag lunches....I will often plan extras for dinner to have for lunches later in the week. But I have microwave access. When I won't have a microwave, I pack salads, sandwiches, hardboiled egg whites, cheese, yogurt, fruit, nuts.

Don't over think this. It isn't too difficult. But you DO need to plan ahead. If you keep your kitchen well-stocked you will eliminate the excuse of "nothing available". Give yourself 10 extra minutes every morning to be sure that you have a healthy breakfast and lunch and to track it before you head out the door.

Best of luck! ........P

So I just restarted WW a week ago had my first weigh in on Saturday. So I make sure I have plenty of fresh and frozen veggies, fruit is free with PP but I still try to watch it but if I want it and don't have to count it does make me reach for fruit rather than pretzels or something else. Also remember that with WW you can eat what you want within reason you will have your daily points and your weeklies also you can earn activity points, and you should not be afraid to use them.

I am one of those people who would much rather have 1 slice of real bread rather that 2 of diet bread(I do keep it whole wheat). But really if you just get good whole foods not many processed foods you should be set.

Oh yeah my daughter is getting married in May. It is exciting and very stressful. So good luck just stay on track and plan it will help more than you know. right now I fill it is the one thing I am in control of.
