Anyone else read the article on B1 of the Feb 8 2007 Wall Street Journal?

What do you think? Too much growth? Not enough? Just right?

Wish I could post the article.

:sad2:

I don't have access to the article, but if it's talking about Disney's fiscal Q1 earnings release yesterday I think it's very good. Parks-related data showed WDW attendance up 3% in the quarter over prior year and room occupancy rates at 85% (note: Disney's Q1 is fiscal, not calendar year, so it included the holiday season). I think that's great, just enough advance to keep focus on the parks and keeping them up-to-date.

I listened to the earnings conference call yesterday and the Disney rep said the Million Dreams campaign seems to be being very well received. Most of the call focused on dvd sales and television segments, but all the WDW-related talk was positive.

The article was mostly about future expansion of hotel and adventure plans. Most of it was old news (at least to disboarders).

I don't know enough about the legalities to post it here, or I would. Any official stand on that?

You cannot degrade or post to sell, but official Disney news is official Disney news. I do not think the moderators will ding you for that. ;)

1) All that profit, and they start their CM's at $6.80-$7.35 per hour.
2) Pitiful.
3) The wealth should go to more than the execs.
