We've been over to Epcot a lot in the last six weeks enjoying various Food and Wine events and we've never really seen it all that crowded. Yesterday...man was it packed! I guess it's the end of Jersey week, the Soap weekend, Festival of the Masters. We met up with friends who have been at Disney since Wednesday and they said Epcot has been very crowded every day. We went to a Party for the Senses last night and it too was packed. We've never seen one so crowded. It felt like they oversold the event quite frankly....

Next year I'll avoid this weekend like the plague..

I completely agree...never seen Epcot so crowded!!! We were expecting there to be some crowds but it was ridiculous.

It's the last weekend of the F&W festivle. So everyone is going. I bet today would be crowded.

We've been at Epcot the last two Saturdays for Food & Wine events, too, and both days the park was absolutley jammed. During the week, though, the crowds weren't bad at all.

During the week is nice for sure. We didn't go over last weekend, but we have been other weekends this year and provided you do the booths early, it really wasn't bad at all. But yesterday was *awful*. I guess the fact that it's the last weekend, we had great weather bringing out the locals too. But our friends said Epcot has been really busy all week, and so I bet the other parks were as well.

Everytime I saw someone get carded for alcohol I could see it was a FL ID, seems that the beautiful weather definitely had a lot to do with it...all the locals wanted to get in one last hurrah at the F&W fest! (Myself included!!) :sunny: :sunny:

We were there yesterday too and boy do I agree... man it was packed. When I saw how many people were headed to MGM for super soap weekend, I told myself hey Epcot will be empty. HAHAHAHA!

Like to do this event in future, sounds like we should plan on going on weekday for sure. :goodvibes :wizard: :wave2:

Remember, also, that this has been a holiday weekend (Veteran's Day). Alot of people probably had a long weekend holiday.

It really wasn't bad the other weekends we were there. We were there the first weekend, and Halloween weekend....and two others and they really weren't bad at all. But yes, if I was vacationing at Disney I'd plan on avoiding Epcot during the weekends. And I'd skip Jersey week...which always happens to coincide with the final weekend of F&W.

MK was very busy last evening too. Enough that we left mid evening. It was not unmanageable. But it's not like we haven't been there long ago, or can't go again soon.
I expect it to get progressively busier until after the first of the year. Tis the season. :cool1:

Animal Kingdom had a lot of people there on Friday. We were surprised at the number of people at the parks during the weekend.

That is really too bad about Party for the Senses. We went on Nov 5th and the crowds at Epcot were a bit much, butthe PftS was just perfect. There were a few lines at the most popular booths but nothing unexpected.

I thought I saw on a post somewhere that MGM closed early yesterday and people were sent to Epcot.

We also were at EPCOT on the 12 and attended the party for the Senses, it truly was packed, it was our first party so I could not judge the crowd level, but it did seem very crowded..... But we truly enjoyed it.
