Facilitating transfers at $15/pt! That seems on the high side, since a transfer is a pretty easy way for an owner to unload points, at least when you compare to renting.

Anyway if anyone is in the market for transfers and $15/pt isn't too steep for you, sign up for the TTS email updates!

This seems surprising since transfers for profit aren't allowed. Unless those rules changed.

I noticed they went up about a month ago from $12/pt. to $15/pt. Too much for me!

Are you sure they are not facilitating points rentals and not transfers? Transfers where money changes hands is against DVC rules, and a company like TSS would know that. I'll bet it was points rentals that you saw on the email.

I can read my email. Thanks for the vote on confidence on my reading comprehension abilities though! :thumbsup2

Another way to look at it is that a transfer is worth more to the person receiving the transfer so they should be willing to pay more knowing the points are under their control :stir:

But didn't we all (or most of us) buy DVC to save on DVC stays? At $15/pt you need to see if it is worth it to you to buy (transfer) the points or just go ahead & pay the cash price for the room!:teacher:

I got that email too and never even thought about the "no compensation for transfers" rule. If you even mention compensation to MS when making a transfer, they may not allow it. I know that it has traditionally been a "don't ask, don't tell" proposition, but the advertisement from TSS should definitely be changed or removed altogether.
