We went Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. It was crowded , really crowded.

Monday we went to DTD first and then over to MK, we got a good spot for the 3 pm parade but didn't do much else, just too many people.

Tuesday DS and I got there right at 9, there was a little crowded but manageable. DS and I did Cinderellabration, TTA twice , Buzz and the Walt Disney Train. When we left at noon because I couldn't handle the crowd there was a 70 minute wait on Buzz and 50 minute at Stich. Main St was wall to wall people.

Yesterday we went to AK it was bad too. Wait on the Safari was 60 minutes. There were people everywhere, I've never seen it that crowded before.

I wasn't expecting this many people this week. Hopefully next week will be better, I'll let you know.

You probably got the end of the holiday crowds. There are some kids who didn't go back to school here until just yesterday and I even heard of a couple who went back today. I bet you next week will be quieter. ;)

Wasn't it a zoo? On Monday Epcot was fairly quiet, which gave me great hope for the rest of the week. MK on Tuesday was horribly crowded, but I found the lines weren't bad (didn't go to the biggies like Space Mountain or Buzz, though). Got FP for a couple other things. And on Weds. MGM was crowded but lines were again manageable. Unfortunately, we had to return home unexpectedly on Thursday (were supposed to stay through Sunday) because our dog is sick.

Kids around here don't go back to school until this coming monday.

Our kids don't go back to school until the 9th.....so this could be part of the reason why the parks are crowded.

I'm so glad I listened to all of you and picked the last week in January instead of the first. Though there have been a few reports of sol out resorts even for that week. I think we've seen the last of "slow" times at WDW.

Hope it gets better for you!

Glad that I changed our initial plans to mid-January instead of this week. I'd read on these boards that quite a few schools weren't going back until later in the week or even next week. And if I remember, someone mentioned that many Florida schools in particular weren't going back until later in the week. Hopefully MLK week will be quieter.

Same here in our town in MI, we know a family down there now. Glad the weather was pretty nice though! :sunny:

We are going back on Tuesday , I'll let you know how crowded it is. I'm thinking of making DH go down to Epcot and PI tonight

WE got to the parks on Wed and Epcot and MGM was not that bad, but on Thursday the MK was so crowded I was shocked. Went back to Epcot. I think it was not only that schools start this monday, but there were an awful lot of foreigners. I heard more non english than english!

I believe that it was more crowded than the early may trip we took almost 2 years ago.

Sandy

I am also glad that we decided to change our trip also. I did not think this past week would have been so crowded though.

school is out here until monday----one reason I opted not to go this week--I know several families that went to WDW this week
