WOW!! Just counted my loose change and...

I had two plastic tops of 100 bulk pack CD packages (the kind where the CDs are on a spindle) full of pocket change. I think I've been collecting it for about a year and a half.

I was shocked when the money counting machine spit out a receipt for $418.95!!! That'll cover my spending money next week while I'm at WDW!!

We saved coins in a jar for the kids for Disney last year, I was shocked at how it adds up too. We have another jar going and will use that for when ever we take our next vacation.

We do the same thing!! DH hates to keep loose change in his pockets so he dumps it on his bureau!! I then scoop it up and place it in a container! I also periodically take the change out of my ashtray in the car and dump it in the container.

I then cash the change in a few days before we leave on our Disney vacation. My 3 DD's split the change. They each get close to $100.00 to spend as they wish while we are on vacation!! Once that money is gone.........it is gone!!

It is funny how they are much more 'picky' about what they buy when they are spending their own money!! LOL

Holy crap that is alot of change! We have a big change container that we save for vacation spending money, it really can add up.

Love the change. I finally invested in a sorter that places them in the paper coin holders.

I think I'm up to about $30.00 from last 3 weeks.

Wow, that's amazing... congrats! The most I think i've ever collected is like $75. That will be some awesome spending money for you in Disney... have a great time.
