Hmmm...maybe I will get my call tomorrow?? I tracked my package and it is scheduled to arrive tomorrow afternoon. That would be even better...I hate to have to wait over the weekend.

After reading this thread for months, toying with the idea, gathering my old gold jewelry...I finally took the step and packaged up my "treasures" and dropped them at FedEx last night. My package should arrive tomorrow...then I have to wait over the weekend! Darnit, I could have timed that a bit better.
Anyway, fingers crossed for a nice chunk of change to come back. Here is what I sent in (not sure what is "real" gold and what isn't, although I think most of it is).
one men's ID bracelet
1 women's thin chain bracelet
8 women's rings (with stones still in)
2 pendants
3 sets earrings (that were gold nuggets)
3 hoop earrings
2pr gold post earrings
1 mens ring w/gold nuggets
1 ladies chain necklace
1 ladies chain necklace with gold nugget pendant (a small glass pendant about the size of a nickel filled with small gold nuggets).
Not sure how real unprocessed gold nuggets are calculated? Any ideas?
Will keep you posted on my total...it is fun to read of people's successes. Sort of like our own "Antiques Roadshow".

Jumping on board! I have just a few pieces, but wanted to ask where's everyone sending to? US Gold Buyers? I read thru their website and they seem very well established. Or if I send to goldsellers.com are they still giving an extra 10% to DISers? I read that in one of the much earlier posts on this thread, so I don't know if that is still going on.
Thanks, and congrats to everyone who got great settlements on their jewelry!![]()
I'm pretty sure most of the people who posted on the most recent pages used US Goldbuyers.
For what it's worth, USGB paid double what a local jewelry place offered me. Would recommend them without hesitation.
