Well I got anxious, so I did the chat thing at US Gold Buyers, and asked for a tracking number for my overnight check. Glad I did, because I can see it's out for delivery, and will be in my hot little hand by 4:30! Woohoo!

So for any of you doing it, when they call you with your offer, ask them if you qualify for the overnight check via Fedex!

I am hoping my package doesn't get lost. I feel odd sending it on a friday and knowing they cannot sign for it till monday. Fed ex assured me that they will try again monday if they do not get it on saturday...hope their right!

To conclude my jewelry-selling saga....I have the check in my hands, at 2 PM. So, 48 hours after FedEx picked up my package, I am sitting here with the money. Woohoo!

Yay! I am so happy for you! I sent in some jewelry today. They won't get it till Monday but that's okay. I will be checking my phone all day! I have a feeling not much will be paid to me for some reason. Two of the rings I bought were 14k and they don't have a stamp on them
But we will see. I will post to you monday how I make out.

I actually had a gold coin (22k? not sure), and the rest was 14k...a large necklace, small necklace, gold charm, and a couple of findings. That was it. Good luck--hope you are happily surprised!

Wow! That is great! I sent in a bracelet and was looking at the bag and it is 18k gold overlay sterling silver. maybe that will get me a little more? Who knows. Atleast I will find out monday and i like the fact that if it's not what you expected they will send it back to you!

I went through my jewelry box and sent a handful of rings, broken chains, etc. They are sending me $102.00. They said most of it was not precious metals. I will take the 102.00 and they are sending me back the items they cant use.

Sorry--just saw your post. It was a $25 walking liberty coin (I think that's what it was called). I didn't do a lot of research into it's value, but I was happy enough with what I got from USGB. Good luck!

Hello everyone! After reading this thread through, I decided to sell a small heap of gold that's been cluttering up my dressing room. Fed Ex just picked up my goodies about 10 minutes ago. I am SO anxious to see what I'll be offered!

Emerald Ring - Women's (1) (the emerald is teeny tiny)
Tennis Bracelet - Women's (1) (the diamonds are teeny tiny)

Heart Charm (1)

I just need to call FedEx to have them come pick up my package. I'll do that tomorrow morning since it's already 9:15pm here.

I have some other rings to sell but they have some big stones in them and I want to take them to a jeweler to see what they are first.
