Wow, I cannot order a TIW card w/an AP voucher any longer?

I called TIW and they told me that I cannot use my AP voucher to get my TIW card ahead of time like I have been able to do in the past. I guess I will have to wait until I activate my AP when I arrive there. I was able to use my voucher a couple of years ago, bummer! Has anyone else heard this too?

It won't be a bummer, I promise. You have to go to guest services to activate your AP anyway. You can get the TIW card at the same place, same time.

As I understand it, they don't sell them by mail anymore, just at guest services. It takes about a minute for them to print it out.

Yes, they changed it a couple of years ago. The previous poster is correct that you can get it at guest services while you activate your annual pass. It is a smooth process.

I assume the other benefit (since I never ordered one by mail - they had stopped that before we bought one) - is that it only starts on the day you need it to start, the day you are turning in your AP voucher, thus giving you more time to use it. It literally took 2 minutes when we bought ours, after we purchased our APs and when we renewed it on a later trip.

TIW= Tables in Wonderland (dining discount card available for AP holders and Florida residents)
