Wow...dates for Merry Mixer on member website

- Monday, Nov. 24, 3 p.m. - 5 p.m.
- Monday, Dec. 1, 3 p.m. - 5 p.m.
- Monday, Dec. 15, 3 p.m. - 5 p.m.
- Monday, Dec. 22, 3 p.m. - 5 p.m.

I don't think they were posted until Oct. last year. I wouldn't have looked this early. Thanks for posting.

It states, "Taking place at World Showplace Pavilion at Epcot,* up to six Guests may attend the event per Member I.D". We are traveling with friends, does that mean they can come?

LOL, well I was not looking. Just happened to see it on the sign in page.

Maybe they are beginning to figure out members need this kind of information sooner instead of later now that we forced to make FP+ plans so early.

We didn't get annual passes for this trip and we also didn't get the hoppers because it didn't work for us with the new FP+ last trip. Now I know what day is a definite Epcot day. We haven't attended yet and I am determined to stop in this year.

I'll miss the Merry Mixer for the first time in 10 years. The only Monday I'm there is Dec. 8 and there's no party that day. I'll sure miss my ornament.

Boo. We switched our dates to Dec. 6 - 13 in order to accommodate DD and now we miss the mixer.

We are going to be there for the one on Dec 1 (Yay!) but what happened to the 8th??? Was going to double dip but I guess that's a no-go. Too bad. Our DD was going to join us starting on the 6th....she was hoping to finally get to a MM.

For those of us who have never attended before, please fill us in, so we know if worth scheduling around.
Do I need to reserve a spot? Is it open for all who show up?

Merry Mixers have entertainment, photo ops with characters, refreshments, opportunity to buy merchandise, door prizes. You also get a DVC ornament as you leave.

No need to reserve a spot and it's open to all but they do check for your blue Member's Card so make sure you bring it. There seems to be a shortage of tables and chairs but they do have plenty of "standing" tables around the room.

We have been to a couple and will gladly go this year. We just plan to be in Epcot that day. Some people don't think it's worth wasting time on but we think it's worth it.

Looks like they've decided not to have a Mixer during the week of the Annual Condominium Association Meeting. Why do you think that is?

I will be with friends who do not have park hoppers, so I will miss it this year. We will be at DHS that Monday.since we have CP package for our Epcot day, I do not want to change, maybe I will try!)

Yes, DVC would like your friends to become DVC members.
