I forgot to buy one of those waterproof cases for my phone! or I would have taken so many more pictures while we were in with the fish! There's a wonderful reason to go back again!

We had a hearty & delicious breakfast in a lovely, tropical setting!

After breakfast, we checked in at Guest Services for the daybed we had reserved. An attendant showed us to the daybed and assisted us with snorkels, vests, and took us to a locker They have special animal-friendly sunblock available in dispensers by the lockers.

The daybed was $79 plus tax for the day. It looked very nice in the picture and even in person looked comfy. Sadly, it was not comfortable for the two of us to sit on or to lay on. The worst part - they did not offer any shade. The canopy did nothing to shade the sun and the daybeds were in full sun the entire day! They also did not have any type of small table to hold a drink or snack. The lounge chairs in front of us that are no additional charge did have shade umbrellas as well as small tables by many of them.

We used our daybed only for a short time, and then had to move to shade as we were overwhelmed by the sun.

On the bright side, we visited Guest Services to discuss the situation with the daybed. They shared with us that they have not had very much positive feedback on the daybeds and they agreed that as a new feature, they will have to make some changes in order for this to be a positive add- on for future guests. We were happily refunded our payment as well.

This is one item that we cannot recommend at this time. Hopefully some changes can be made to make the daybed rental worthwhile.

It was time to check in for our dolphin swim!!



We filled out the necessary paperwork, met our trainer, and watched a short video.

A short time later it was time to hit the water!!!

The water is at a temperature comfortable for the dolphins, i.e.,- cold for us!

It is such an unbelievable experience to be in the water alongside such amazing little angels!!

The trainers taught us so much about dolphins.

This was our third visit to Discovery Cove and swimming with the dolphins, but the sheer joy we feel while interacting with them will not diminish if we do this a million more times!

After our swim, we went to look at our pictures. We purchased the entire photo package which gave us 10 prints, the CD with our entire experience, and the photo downloads of all pictures. We also got a photo album and photo frame!

After our dolphin swim, it was time for a drink!! All food and beverages are included in the daily price at Discovery Cove. They have an assortment of wine, beer, and a couple of frozen cocktails!

The drink stands also have snacks that you can help yourself to all day!

There's a pool near the snack stand that has floating chairs and you can enjoy your drinks while you float! How nice!

I love the warm chocolate chip cookies that they bring out in the afternoons at the snack stand that's just adjacent to the sunken loungers in the Freshwater Oasis. I could sit in one of those chairs in the water and just eat cookies all day .

Oh, I meant to ask.....is the corned beef hash new? I don't recall seeing it on our previous visits. I hope it was tasty....it's one of Steve's breakfast favorites!

The corned beef hash was very good! Joe had the french toast sticks and liked them! The western egg scramble was delicious! All the food there is great! We were happy with all of our choices!!
