We are in the process of closing on our 1st DVC contract (resale) and have never taken a tour. We did rent some points for an up coming trip May 14th-17th at SSR.
I guess what im asking is, even though we closing and wont be in Disney system yet should we take the tour, is it worth it?
I do have a guide(only phone calls) and at this point she doesn’t know we went resale. I also want to say I have no problem telling her if it comes up. But im sure we will be adding more very soon and if we don’t go resale she would get my $.
So I take time and do it?

depends upon you.

if you have a membership number you can go to the open house for DVC at 5 to7 pm (I think) Wednesday (I think) at SSR.

I wouldn't want to take up a guide's time unless you are thinking of adding on through Disney. Just go to the open house.
