I have often thought about this, I love movies that are set in the early 50's and 60's. I was born in 69, but I really grew up in the 80's, you know, being a teenager. I just don't think I would have liked living in the early 1900s. You see, I like to bathe on a daily basis, sometimes twice a day and I brush my teeth OFTEN. I have this thing about stinkiness, I don't care for it. So the early years wouldn't have worked for me........I know this is a weird subject, I'm bored, it's raining.

I have thought about it but never have picked an actual time that I would like to live in.

I'd like to live in the future. It would be neat to live in the age of commercial space travel, etc.

Nope, I enjoy where I live right now! Sure not everything is roses, but life was much more demanding back then!

Plus, I couldn't DIS!!!

If I lived in last week...I would have this weeks lottery numbers:smooth:

And maybe then we could move out of the van! ;)

well if we went back to the late 70's the van would be *itchen

What could be better than going back in time and being there as Cotton Candy was invented? To witness the first moment when a young carnival worker spun the magical elixir bringing happiness to all fair lovers. Can't you just imagine seeing someone who looked like Doc Brown from Back to the Future making Cotton Candy? In fact Doc Brown's hair looks like Cotton Candy. If all this talk of Cotton Candy has you in the mood for a delicious snack, stop by the Food Fair poll and vote Cotton Candy!

Yup..it would be neat to go back and see another time, but we would give up a lot leaving this time period....:sunny:

I've always had a secret desire to be Laura Ingalls.. I think it would have been a hoot to live in Walnut Grove..;)

OUT HOUSE

I just got through watching the PBS "Colonial House" where they took families from today and set them in colonial times. Yes they had a cameraman following them and could be "rescued" if there was an emergency, but they were really trying to live in that time period. I SO wish it had been me. I would have loved to live back then. Yes it was a hard life, but I think it would work for me! (And they didn't even do out-houses back then!) The things you learn on PBS!

I'd like to go back about 4 years, before all the pain entered my life.. :teeth:

I want to be a caveman (see a sexy woman, throw her over my shoulder and take bak to my cave)
