Would you stay at a brand new hotel?

Gerneally, yes. I'd stay at a new place. I like places that are new and fresh.

On the other hand, I've decided that when it comes to WDW, on property is where I want to be.

Last year we stayed at some beautiful condo-style villas. I think you'll have a great trip, but for someone like me, staying off property means less time in the parks, and that I didn't care for.

The truoble with staying at a nice off-property place like this is that i's actually too nice. At least witha large family it was. It was really hard to round everyone up and motivate them. We had a nice tv, a hot tub, a nice pool. For me, I have a relatively nice tv at home, access to a pool and though I enjoy a dip in the Disney pools (especially to check out the water slides), I don't travel all the way to Florida to watch tv or swim ordinary laps. I go for the rides, and the things that are uniquely Disney.

Well, I just booked it! Thanks for letting us all know about this. One question, though: I used Bookit for the first time and used their Pay Delay. I meant to just click pay it all now but didn't. I don't need to do anything else, right? They'll just use the card on file on the dates they posted?

I did the same thing, clicked on the install pay by accident and it has all been billed to my CC on schedule. How did you get the $25 gas card?

I don't know. It just says so on their site and my confirmation. I'm hoping they'll hand it over when I check in. If not, I'll call Bookit about it.

ok, so i bit the bullet and booked the caribe cove the other day through bookit.com.

the $25.00 gas card is part of their offer. when you get your confirmation email there is link to print out your hotel voucher and one for the gas card as well...i'm assuming you take it to check in and get it at the desk.

i got the 3 bedroom villa for the same price as the 2 bedroom, the 4th night is free. we are staying for 7 nights. on the other sites i saw there was a $65.00 cleaning fee, but didn't see that information on the bookit.com site. however, when i got my itinerary and confirmation from bookit, i saw the fee in the fine print. so who knows... either way, i think i can manage to shell out 65 bucks after the money i'll be saving.

all said and done, a 3 bedroom condo for 7 nights will be costing just over $800.00...i think i'm doing pretty good considering i was willing to (and almost did!) pay somewhere around $1500.00!!!
