Would you rather move directly right , left , across the road or directly behind your home?

I have nothing but farmland and trees surrounding me. I'd have to build another house if I did this.

None.
House across the street is smaller
House behind me is MUCH smaller (1,000 square feet) and 25 years old
Houses to the left and right are two stories with pools, Two things I would never want in a house.

To the left. The house is on a flatter parcel, with a fenced in yard, larger shed and a play structure. In the past five years they've finished their basement, installed a stamped concrete patio and driveway. Our layouts are pretty much the same but I have a better mudroom setup. I would trade that in a heartbeat for a fence and a finished basement.

None of the options are better than what I have now. I've put a lot of time, money and energy into my home and I'm happy here.

Yesterday I was cutting and trimming trees in my front yard and a newer neighbor came across to ask for the wood if I wasn't keeping it. I happily gave it away and offered more from my backyard, where recently we had cut a silver maple. He and his family cleaned up on that pile and in return for clearing away the giant woodpile that I didn't need, they cleaned my gutters! My back property is huge and they had no idea how large it was back there because you can't see it from the street.

If I had to choose probably the one behind us, I think the lot is a little bigger, and the garage is a little bigger. Most of the houses in this neighborhood are remarkably similar. In fact many have the same floor plan. It's like all of the houses are going to be like one of 3 things and that's all you have to choose from.

None
Left is a forrest
Right is a house like ours
Behind is a 2 story.
I have a quad
Our next house will have no stairs - both my knees to be replaced and I‘m done with stairs.

No stairs was one of the biggest 'must haves' when I was looking for a home. I have no desire to use them and potentially fall down them as I age.

The left. Their house is the same size as ours but they have a MASSIVE back yard!

All of the above, but technically none since I'm stuck in a mobile home and I would rather not be. I have the oldest purchased from the park owner. They said it was too good of shape to scrap. It's all original from 1976 with built-in cabinetry in the bedroom (good, because I didn't need to buy a dresser.) They had just finished siding it and the asphalt roof is only 1 year old. Paid cash for it, barely anything so anything else I wouldn't have the money to buy around me.
