I just looked it up and it seems I was in a "Deluxe" Garden view and that's why it was larger. Based on my quick search, standard garden view and standard tower rooms are same size though. "The deluxe room boasts approximately 215 additional square feet, with lots of floor space and a sitting area"-from Plan Disney
