Would you like to be famous?

Hollywood ideals such as...?

I work in "Hollywood" and my ideals are just fine, thank you. Do you think everyone drinks every night and does drugs? I carpool, for crying out loud.

And yes. I would like to be famous. Tom Hanks famous, that is.

Mostly the heavy focus on physical appearance. While it might not permeate all of Hollywood, I can imagine that it takes quite a toll on the majority of celebrities and personally, I could not handle that.

I'm not trying to slam anyone in the industry or imply anything by my statement, I just know that the values that place a large importance on outward appearances, public image, weight, etc. would really get to me and I wouldn't like to be around it.
