Would you go see the same band twice in the same week?

YES! I often fly stupid, crazy far to see favorite bands. If I had the chance to see a favorite multiple nights I would and have. Hell, I'm flying to Europe this summer (exact show/country under consideration) to see Interpol this summer. No WAY I'm missing it. They're doing "Turn on the Bright Lights" in its entirety!

Probably not for a professional band/singer, for me seeing them once is usually enough.

But for a favorite local band, I most definitely would. On our vacation in January we spent a few days first in Nashville and enjoyed a great night with a great band at Crazy Town downtown and would have gone to listen to them again if we'd had the chance.

It would have to be unusual circumstances for me to go out of my way to do that, but it sounds like it was a great decision for you.

If you're a fan of "veteran acts" you go whenever you can, they may not be coming through again.

I would! My favorite band is based in California and they are not big enough to cross the country regularly so any sort of east coast visit is something I have to take advantage off. I'd follow them all over Boswash if I could get away with it.

Yep, done it a few times. A friend and I went to NKOTB last year and they had added a second show after we'd already bought tickets to the first one. After we went, we bought tickets that night to the second one and ended up with 2nd row seats. I also bought tickets to see Garth Brooks twice in three days.

Yes. We are traveling to D.C. To see U2 on The Joshua Tree tour, if they were playing more than one night and I could score tickets to another show Id do it without hesitation!

In the minority, but no haven't done it. I've seen the same band multiple times, but not back to back. And we saw American idiot twice too, once with Billie Joe as st jimmy. <3

Twice in the same night if it didn't cost extra. There are some music festivals where the same act might perform twice at the same event. That's been the case for one free music festival in San Francisco.

And different setlist were mentioned. I saw Elvis Costello play once, and the setlist didn't include Alison. I looked up the setlist for his performance a couple of days later and it did. So that might be a good case for attending twice.

Back in the 90s I saw Van Halen twice in two nights. The second show even had more songs because Sammy Hagar had a cold and skipped some stuff in the first show.
