Would you do Epcot

I couldn't imagine skipping Epcot, as it is my favorite park and the one I frequent the most aside from MK. I think Epcot is worth going to for Soarin and Frozen alone! You could do a half day there, just so you don't have to skip it altogether. A trip just wouldn't feel complete without Epcot and riding my favorites - SSE, Soarin, Test Track, Gran Fiesta Tour, Imagination (yes I love it!) and Living with the Land!

I would do WS in the evening on your EP day and the go on a split day with MK or AK since your kids love it. You can either fly through the countries or take your time in each one, so it's up to you. But, there are always great things to eat and you can get see Illuminations as you leave while everyone is watching or you can stake out a spot.

Last time we spent 2 dayss, from 9-2 and still didn't see/do all we wanted. But my kids are HUGE into Animals. We really took our time on the trails, they did Wilderness Explorers etc... Plus it's summer (aka crowded and slow goin'). I really loved WS, but it was just too frigging hot in the heat of summer. I wouldn't mind doing an evening in the WS though. It's not so much that I have anything against EP, the 5 rides I listed, I know they'd love, and I'm sure we could spend an hour at the Seas, for sure. *sigh*... decisions, decisions

To clarify your choices are
A:5 days with hopper and WPM
B:6 day base tickets

If that's the case, then I would do option A and spend the evening in Epcot. We usually have hoppers because we tend to use the military salute ticket and what we did do which would not work next summer is go to Animal Kingdom until about 3 and then we went to Epcot for the evening. If you wanted 2 days in Animal Kingdom, you could focus one of the days on the night activities and then if you finished early the second day go to Epcot.

The water parks are really nice and kids enjoy them, but are you one of the posters who stays in a house with a pool? I'm not sure I would choose the water parks if we had a pool in our backyard. I see why the kids would like them more, but they are also a lot more work and more money.

I would vote for C. Wait til 2017 to decide (or as long as you can til you need to buy tickets). There may be closures in other parks or EPCOT that make the decision easy (like they are starting to pile on from mid-July on this year). If EPCOT favorites are gonna be closed anyway, it's an easy call...

Oh i wont be buying till fall for sure. Just thinking ahead for budgeting purposes etc... Also thinking how many nights we want etc as we're booking the house next month or two. Id love to add a night so we could do 6 park days plus water park, but all those extras start adding up.

Yes. And those are my husbands sentiments exactly. And it just dawned on me - a complete duh!!! moment... We're going to Lego Land. We can spend a few hours at the water park while we're there!
