Would you change your way of vacationing at WDW if money was no object??

Just thought about this question on a long car ride home and decided to post it to everyone out there....Would you change your way you see the World if you didn't have a budget? If so, how? If not, why not?

The always curious...
:p IVY :p

Yes, I would buy more DVC points and pay the way everyone who I want to go with me. Oh, and I would probably take longer trips as well.

We would enjoy more of the nicer restaurants instead of brown bagging it or eating counter service. I hate going on a budget but that is the only way we can go so it is better than not going!!! One of these days we will be able to eat at Boma and Ohana's without it breaking our trip budget.

I would definitely stay longer on visits than I can now and would also try a variety of resorts - of all levels. I'd go at various times of the year to see all the different events, such as MNSSHP, F&W, Christmas/New Year's at WDW, etc.

I would definitely change.....Go several times each year, stay in the deluxe resorts and not worry about what I buy. Oh yes, eat at all the nice places too..:sunny:

Oh I sure would. I would go top notch all the way, GF in the best room, all the nice restaurants and do just about everything there is to do and also spend about 2 weeks there.

Or go more often to be able to do things :)

I am so lucky that we can basically do almost everything that we want at DW (other than staying an entire year) but if money were no object I would not mind trying out Old Key West - it always looks so peaceful or a balcony room at Boardwalk so we could watch the people and activities at night.

I can really only eat one major meal a day anyway and have eaten at most everywhere already so that is not too important.

Since we do not presently spend much time in the room we stay at the AS's. If they had a comfy chair or two in the room it would be perfect - until we win the lottery. LOL

If we were staying at the nicer resorts I would have to spend more time in the room and less in the parks though. Hmmmm, not sure about that one. LOL

I have seriously given this thought over the years. The answer is absolutely my ways would change. Much Longer trips. DVC points. Suite stays at GF, AKL etc. Not worrying about every penny of each days budget. Everything just short of moving into the castle. lol.

I'd go more often and stay longer when I go! Also, bring family and friends with me. Stay at resorts based on amenities, not price. Eat at restaurants based on cuisine and atmosphere, not price. Relax and enjoy more, rather than "commando" because we want to see as much as possible in the short time we can afford to stay.

Oh if money was no object - i wouldn't only stay longer i would live there - oh that's kinda funny if i called with a code for say the night of January first and said i needed the room until december 31st would they have to honor the rate all year (man i think about dumb stuff) But yes if money was no object - I would buy an annual pass and book 365 days in a two bedroom villa somewhere - and no i don't think i would get bored.

Oh, we'd definitely change our Disney ways.

We'd stay for at least a week each trip, and take at least two trips a year. We'd stay in Deluxe resorts, eat at whatever restaurant we want, and invest in DVC!

Ahhhh, to be independently wealthy... :p

Well, for one thing, I probably wouldn't be on this board as much since I wouldn't be checking daily to see if AP codes had come out for October!! :teeth:

I'd change too! Annual passes all the time, instead of only every few years. And I'd try a different resort and area of each resort for each trip. Food wouldn't change too much, but I wouldn't have to play the search and wait game with the airfares! Just go whenever I wanted a little escape!

Yep, I'd pay to stay at the best of the best at WDW. I'd ride around in a limo too.

Heck yes!:D We'd stay longer and add some exta package options. Would also buy the custom made $165 cinderella dresses I've been eyeing for my daughters. :) Actally though, I've been pretty happy with our trips and feel fortunate we can go at all.

:D

I would defnitetly make changes. First, I'd stay at the deluxe resorts. I'd also stay for more than a week. I'd go for at least two weeks every time and I'd have a lot of souvenirs. I might even try the concierge service. Life is but a dream...

I'd stay at the Polynesian Resort again. I really love this resort but I think that it's too pricey now especially compared to some other resorts.

I would also go wild at the World of Disney and I mean WILD. I've always wanted to go on a spending frenzy there but cooler heads prevail. :)

If money was no object, I would live in the deluxe resorts while my own personal "castle" was being built for us not to far away from WDW

The shopping would be rampant (dh is more a shopper than I am)

And Id be an insanely generous tipper. Not to mention spreading the magic everywhere I went::yes::

Besides the usual "go more often and stay longer", I'd do the Illuminations Cruise more often and eat at some of the World Showcase sit-down resturaunts more often. I know DH would definitely do Richard Petty every time he went (if not at least a few times every time he went!)
