Selling off your pins to save the $$ for a Disney Cruise? I have been on 2 Cruises so far and really wanna do it again. I have tons of pins, alot of complete sets, lots of LE's just like lots of you all have. I was reading on another board how alot of people sell all kinds of things on E-bay and use the $$ just for Disney Trips.

I wouldn't sell all of them just thin things out a bit and then maybe collect certain things (yeah I thought I would do that in the beginning).

Anyway just wondering if anyone has or would do this to fund a trip.....

Sure! I would. Heck, I have sold stuff just to fund my grocery bill at different times!

I have thought about thinning out my collection several times, have done it a little bit, but definitely would do it to fund a Disney adventure of any kind.

I know when many of us started we bought EVERY pin released, than have come to realize this is not possible anymore!

After I move, I will plan to take a HARD look at my collection and see what I really wish to focus on and go with that.

YES!!!! We often have multiples of pins, from cruises, events, trading, and we sell some on Ebay to fund our , events, cruises, trading...one hand washes the other...

Of course that is after we have offered some of them up at sale price, plus shipping, but living close to the parks we get to do that when we get extras...

Yes, as a matter of fact that's what I'm in the process of doing. I'm selling half of my collection to pay for a new computer and to pay for my upcoming trip to WDW in the fall. It will be my daughter's first trip to Disney. I think she will love it!

I have done this before myself, I say just hold on to whats really important to you and sell what you dont need. People love to buy pins on ebay...I do all the time...let me know your seller name and I will check you out when you start selling.
