Well we're doing the waiting game now I just got off the phone with my sister. My mother and step-father are pretty much not reachable while they are in the hospital since you can't have cell phones on, and I think they will want to stay where doctors and nurses can find them. My aunt is staying with our youngest brother. Part of me is very positive, but part of me worries about every little thing, I've read 50 times that open-heart surgery is the most invasive operation there is, that's a lot of things that can go wrong

Come on now Lisa, stay strong and keep the faith, we have been praying ALL DAY for Michael, the surgeons, your mom, you, and the rest of your family.

I just got off the phone with my aunt, the surgery was delayed in starting, not until 6 p.m. central time. Looks like it will be a little later than expected. I left a message for my mom on their cell phone. No other news yet.

He's out of surgery! Although it was delayed, it went quicker than expected getting in at under 5 hours. They still have him on life support, and we're not sure when they will let him wake up yet. I haven't heard any reports yet this morning, I'm going to start calling around, I doubt my moms cell is on, but I'll try and I'll try my moms house, where my aunt is staying with my younger brother. I'll post again when I hear how he's doing today. Thank you all for your support and prayers, it really means a lot.
