A very frustrating day today, as we tried to organize an outing of 18 of us at Animal Kingdom (half of them under 8 years old). I had done all of my due diligence in advance, having checked all of our old passes at the Beach Club Concierge when we arrived. We arrived for park opening at 9:00, made our way through the long line-up, only to be told that two of the children's passes did not have any park days left on them (when the BCV Concierge had said that there were two days left on each of them). So ... we are redirected to Guest Services, where we encountered a 40-minute line-up, only to be told that we would have to buy new passes for the two kids. All the while, the remaining members in our party were waiting inside the gates (while the thousands of other guests made their way into the park). The total delay was in the range of 55 minutes, effectively destroying our day (we made it on our first ride at 10:30). So, my question is -- should I make the effort to complain about this? At the end of the day, I suspect that I simply got bad information from the Concierge when I checked the tickets on the first day, but that really shouldn't happen, and the practical consequences for our group were very significant.
I appreciate any thoughts or suggestions while I try to recover from this stressful day.
