worth it to try to waitlist for AKL in January?

We have a 1BR at SSR Jan 11 - 14 and a Studio at WLV Jan 18 - 20. Those were the only available resorts for the dates I had requested. Do you think it's worth it to waitlist at AKL for any of those dates or is that pretty much an impossibility for that time?

Can't hurt to try. Doesn't cost you any effort after the first phone call. We waitlisted for about a month for 1 night SV Studio for Jan 17. Came through quicker than I thought.

I would try too. I am waitlisted at AKL for Jan 23-30. I have read that a few peoples waitlists have come through for Jan. Good luck.
