The current Disney World facebook question about the best thing you have ever eaten at Disney World unfortunately immediately reminded me of the worst. LOL

Fulton's Crab House
Clam Chowder

Oh...dear...bringing spoon to my mouth...ahhhhhh, look at that very large yummy potato...mmmmmmmm...WHAT THE?!

Yeah, it wasn't a potato. It was a *huge* clump of flour...only flour, nicely wrapped in clam chowder broth. It was my fault for not cutting the "potato" in half, but it looked so delicious. What I got was the worst, most disgusting thing I have ever eaten. If you have never had a completely full mouthful of pure gluey, wet flour...you won't understand. Blech! :rotfl:

It's a close tie really...It happened on Sunset Blvd in DHS. We were hungry and went to a couple of the stands for a bite. The decision? A turkey leg from Toluca Leg Co. and a burger from Rosie's all American. I'm not sure what was worse: the anticipation and let down of the fatty and fake salty taste of the turkey leg, or the rubbery and fatty hockey puck that was given forth as a burger.

I still have nightmares, to this day. :scared1:

The worst for me are those cream cheese-filled soft pretzels they sell in the Magic Kingdom.

Hands down, the dinner skillet from Whispering Canyon Cafe. It was sooo fatty, greasy and just made my stomach turn.

The worst thing I ever ate at Disney was the egg salad sandwich my wife packed.

But then that's the worst thing I eat at home as well.

:rotfl:

A couple years ago we ate cheeseburgers at Tamu Tamu. They were sooooo gross! They were gray with black specks (pepper?) :scared1: I don't know if they were microwaved or steamed or what but they were so mushy! :confused3 All 3 of us were disgusted and ate just the chips. $29 for chips and cokes for lunch.
I get the creeps just walking past the place!

Oh man, I had Shrimp Pad Thai several years ago at the Tomorrowland Noodle Station and I was sick the rest of the day. I'm pretty sure I got food poisoning!

At Disney, I try something new every day (something my parents started on my first trip at age 5).

The only thing I haven't been able to eat more than a bite of was the Eggplant soup at Tony's.

Hands down the old, crappy meatloaf at POR counter service. Luckily I took one bite. But that was enough to make me sick. That was probably 5 years ago and thinking of that food court makes me cringe to this day.
Second worse was the grisly burger years ago at Plaza Restaurant.
That was so bad it was just last September I gave it another try. And it was basically poor cafeteria food.
No flippin' way again.
Hess gas station food is better, if not as good. Not that I would eat there unless desperate either.
Not so crazy about Sci Fi either.... Not good food memories there either. Maybe only if it is burgers and shakes. But beyond that...

ABC Comissary. Some sort of noodle bowl. It looked pretty good, it smelled pretty good, but when I went to eat it...:confused3....I don't know how it could taste so bad.

The food at the Spirit of Aloha dinner show and the Aloha pork sandwich at Captain Cook's Snack Co. Both are at the Poly and even being pregnant, I didn't care for the food there. When I was hungry at the hotel, I lived on the kid's grilled cheese sandwich lol. However, the sushi at Kona Island Sushi Bar is the delicious; too bad you can't eat that when you are pregnant.

The worst thing I've ever eaten at Disney was some sort of pasta/tomato sauce dish at POFQ (this was 13 years ago, so I don't remember exactly what it was, but I remember it didn't have enough sauce & it was b-a-d bad). The second-worst thing was a burger at the ABC Commissary.

Can't even remember what it was, because we blocked it out of our minds, but it was our entire meal at San Angel Inn in Mexico in Epcot. In fairness, this was 10 years ago, but we still can't go back. The Cantina has good CS food, so we stick with that.

The refurbished school bread in Norway. Hard, half-frozen and tasteless. So sad...

The steak at La Hacienda. Just had it 2 weeks ago. It almost turned my son off of steak. It made my husband sick. It was very very greasy and bland. Yuck!!

It was weird because as we were waiting to be seated we heard a diner who was leaving rave about it. We must have been really unlucky to get the 2 worst steaks in WDW history!

The dessert at LTT's dinner. Basically tasted like the opened a can of apple pie filling and plopped it in a bowl and topped it with some half melted ice cream.
