Worst ride/show/exhibit

I really enjoy the Hall of Presidents...not sure why, but I do. I also love the Tiki Birds!

Anyway...
My biggest point was that the Speedway is very much out of place in Tomorrowland.

I love the bears and birds, but I've been going to them since I was 2 and it might be a cult type thing w/ me by now. I think my kids may enjoy them for their first time in 2 weeks.

I know the cars can be found in a lot of parks across America and are not unique to WDW, but my son is almost 3 and will just love to go on them... driving his own car and all. So although I don't care for them, he will probably love them.

I enjoyed Sounds Dangerous when it was more interactive and called something else. Haven't been there since they changed it and probably won't now since I've read the posts. Doesn't sound dangerous, sounds terrible.

Backstage Tour was nice once, but would be bored doing it again. Same w/ the President's, COP, and Timekeeper.

I don't understand why Snow White hasn't been nixed yet. Like a PP said, too scary for youngsters, too boring for older kids. Doesn't seem to fit any age range.

I am a coaster fanatic. The faster and more furious, the happier I am. And yet I can't stand the Star Tours and Body Wars. I get the concept, and I sort of feel like I am the one flying thru space and body, but they bounce you around sooo much and I find I enjoy the smoother rides more. The Dinosaur ride shakes me up too much too. RnR is more my style. So I would be fine if they were taken away.

Usually I dislike being negative, but I've got to say that Sounds Dangerous is probably the weekest and least entertaining thing at WDW. It's about the only thing I can think of that I would not try again. Universe of Energy is another that I didn't think was that great.

Another vote here for Country Bear Jamboree, but have to disagree on Indy Speedway. My kids love this ride, and my big kid (DH) gets just as excited about it as they are.

We hated Pocahontas in Animal Kingdom, and my DD is a big Pocahontas fan. Just kinda lame.

We don't spend enough time in Epcot to have too much of a say, but we didn't enjoy Living Seas when we did go. Although we may give it another shot on the next trip just to see Nemo.

1. Sounds Dangerous

2. Pocahontas

3. Luau

1. Seems like a lot posters choose Sounds Dangerous as the worst attraction. I haven't been to this since it was called "Monster Sound Show" (I think). Didn't care for it back then.

2. Pocahontas is clearly geared to the pre-school/very young crowd. I think it serves well to those little ones, but I would defintely skip if I didn't have children with me. Ditto for the Tomorrowland Speedway.

3. Luau - again, I haven't been to that one since it was called "The Polynesian Review". I guess it hasn't changed much.

Have a good day!::MinnieMo

I cant stand It's a Small World - I dont know why anyone would ride this more than once. Its so OLD looking.

I dont really mind the race track - my husband had a ball on this when we went last year (his first visit to WDW). It doesnt make sense where its located but it sure is popular.

but I'd like to see someone do something with that lake where the King Triton Statue is at in Fantasy Land.

YES!!! This used to be the 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea ride (a very cool ride as I remember it). I could see some kind of Atlantis ride going in there. Or a Nemo ride - that would be really cool. You would spend the ride trying to find Nemo. I LOVE IT!

LOL! I don't why I ride it every time I visit, but I do. It's just something that I don't pass up. I've been riding it since the 70's. Same goes for the Jungle Cruise. It's lame to me, but I must ride it on every visit. My vacation wouldn't be complete otherwise!

I think Sounds Dangerous is ok. I really like the booths outside where you go in and put on the headphones and it feels like you're in the action whose sounds you're hearing. Especially the haircutting. I scrunch my neck every time it gets to that part.

Change the inside show however you want. Please leave the booths. You can change the booth story but keep the concept.

The Luau has changed significantly. It is like a bad after-school special now.

Uh-oh...... The last time we went to the Luau was in 1995. I've made reservations for our trip next month. Can anyone tell me a little more about how it has changed? Is it really not worth it? If the show is horrible is at least the food pretty good?

everyone has their own taste...I like the country bear jamboree and I think the tomorrowland speedway would be ok if they would just juice the cars up a little bit. I think that maybe the whole adventureland area of the park should be redone or updated or something.....

I think the worst overall attraction in all of WDW is Dinosaur at AK...considering the cost of this attraction and how it was hyped up; it's the parks version of a box-office flop.

I would also like to see all of the indoor boatride type rides at a minimum updated(IASW,POTC,malstrom, mexico...etc...)and the same for the films they show like at the different countries at EPCOT....

I have to disagree with a lot of you-I love the hall of presidents and my daughter had a great time on the tomorrowland speedway. Country bears needs a serious updating though or to just go altogether, I nearly fell asleep duing the show it was so agonizing. Another disagreement is Dinosaur in the animal kingdom-I loved it and is one of my favorite rides in all of WDW-it was very thrilling, much more than the tower of terror was. So overall the one attraction that I would like updated is Counrty Bears. A nemo ride over by that lake in fantasyland is a good idea as well, don't know quite what that would entail though-wouldn't it be cool if it were all underwater? Or at least portions of it.

Now something that looks old is Country Bear...that is sooooooooooo boring...good place to take a nap.

My two to remove is the race track outside MK not far from the parking lot. While staying at the Poly there is nothing more anoying than hearing those cars. It ruins the whole atmosphere of the Poly. The other is the Sounds Dangerous at MGM. That was a mistake from the start..smjj

I agree about Sounds Dangerous.

But I love the fidgety presidents...

Worst show/exhibit - I have one candidate per park for consideration:

MK: Donald's Boat - if it has to be dry then replace it

AK: Triceratops Spin - something more creative please than Dumbo's ancestors

Epcot: El Rio de Tiempo - this ride is screaming "update me"

MGM: Sounds Dangerous

And of coursem the worst show is one that is on rehab

:earseek:

My worsts are:
MK- I did HATE Alien Encounter, but I'll see how I feel once they redo it
Epcot- Living Seas
MGM- Sounds Dangerous
AK- Pocahontas

another vote for "sounds dangerous". by the way, when we went this week they had the "christmas version"of country bears. that lasted until about monday or tuesday. when we went back on wednesday it was closed with a sign that said "closed for refurbishment".
